It's because Abby has traumatised her so much in her life and has made her hate her body and her 'tarantula arms' that she needs to show progress. If Ava didn't mention her once, that would be pretty weird because it was Abby who gave her the starting career.

I really do feel for her with the hate she gets on social media, but abby kicked her off bc of her crazy mum. I know Abby said "you're too tall for us today, you're cut" but Abby just said that as an excuse to kick her off bc her mum couldn't grasp the fact that she was cut. If Abby thought she was too tall she wouldn't cast her for the select team , Abby actually liked the fact that her legs were extraordinary long.

Why are half the comments saying “she wasn’t kicked off the team for being too tall” for starters, abby doesn’t even pick who is and isn’t chosen for the teams. For all we know, she COULD have been cut for her height, but even if she wasn’t, just keep in mind that abby rudely said “Ava come stand next to Chloe” “you’re too tall for us today Ava, you’re cut” so even if that wasn’t the reason she was cut, she heard one of her teachers say that. Abby says cruel things to these poor, innocent children and it leaves a mark on them.

If someone actually said something nasty about me, I wouldn't continually lie to make it into a big deal and garner sympathy. I would just get on with my life and show them by working on my dancing so that nobody could criticise me.

Don't kick her out because of me give her a reason' so Abby compared her to another dancer (Chloe possibly??) and said 'sorry, you're too tall today'. So she wasn't actually kicked out because of that, that was just a random reason when they wouldn't accept that Abby didn't like them and didn't think Ava was good enough. No hate, just facts. I get that she's upset by it but don't use that as a story when it is only half of the truth (unless the show cut parts out/ didn't show things that would suggest otherwise because I know they enhance situations).

Yes, maybe Ava was kicked off because of her mom, but the way Abby rudely told her that she was too tall for the team must have hurt her anyways. She was still a child back then and not fully know the affect of her mother and producers on her being on the team. What Abby said definitely would make her think that her height caused her to be kicked off the team.
