vale i'm kind of incoherent right now. i'm an emotional wreck. that was everything i could have wanted and more, i mean the intro alone had me wanting to curl up into a ball (the planes flying side-by-side through the clouds was just the best opening shot you could have chosen, and then all those FACES afterwards). without going back and rewatching (which i plan on doing for the rest of time), the parts that stuck with me the most was the PERFECT placement of the 2x06 hug with the 'don't care' scene; all the 'and you give yourself away' segments - that line defines them, lbh; the flawlessness of all your parallel transitions (hands, HUGS, walking away+staring after longingly, etc.); and the trust part!!! SO. GOOD. and how could you put 'you come back!' into this?? it was cruel and unusual punishment. i could literally point out every single moment of this video as a stand-out moment bc it was one of those vids where you're holding your breath the entire time and every clip placement and voiceover feels fitting and meaningful and it just made me miss these two bbs more than ever. and that line in your description about not being able to put a label on them - that's EXACTLY how i feel about them, and one of the main reasons why i love them as much as i do. you captured their angst, playfulness, devotion, love, strength, partnership, longing, flirtiness, and tragedy so perfectly. thank you for this beautiful masterpiece

I felt their relationship in such a deep level, and it is all because of your editing. This song is always the best for vidding but then there's YOU vidding THIS song and this is definitely why the effect was so successful. Their love and faith and hopefulness was all over this video, and it's just incredible that you captured that in such a short amount of time. You did an incredible job with the editing, given that they don't have so many scenes (BSG is so much more than just "Lee&Kara"...) and the song fits perfectly. Now that you've finished the whole series, I can leave you this quote by R. D. Moore about the flashback scenes in the finale. "I kind of felt that Kara and Lee had never really left a moment in time on the table. They were kind of trapped in that moment perpetually of wanting, longing, feeling but never being able to fully enjoy it or fully embrace it. They just really never left that place as characters."
