- Did You know that Lithuanian Days in Pennsylvania is the longest-still-running annual heritage festival in the whole USA? Back in those days loads of trains full of Lithuanians came from New York and Philadelphia to be surrounded by other Lithuanians and even chained themselves to the picnic tables to ensure they would have a chance to participate?
Paul G. Domalakes, Master of Ceremonies for Lithuanian Days in Pennsylvania, explains what motivated him to be involved in Lithuanian Days in Pennsylvania for more than 20 years and why everyone who has Lithuanian blood has to enjoy this festival at least once.
The interview was recorded during "Destination Lithuanian America 2023" expedition as a part of map.truelithuania.com - the project aiming to map the Lithuanian heritage sites in the USA and Canada.
Interview recorded by Aistė Žemaitienė, Augustinas Žemaitis. Read more: global.truelithuania.com
