I am so happy!! I have been going for Mollie since the win in Japan last year, i think she deserves this so much and I am so happy that she got an individual gold :)
I think Titmus will be a little disappointed with her swim, perhaps her training focus has been more on the longer events. Don't be surprised if she gives Ledecky a scare in the 800m.
yeah i think she'll be disappointed too, i honestly think she lost by pretty far because mollie came up first on the first lap and that caught ariarne by surprised and ariarne thought she needed to catch up which she did causing her to brun out slightly
I doubt that she’ll give Katie a scare tbh, it’s obvious that Katie’s been mostly focused on distance events leading up the the olympics so I don’t think it’ll be close.
Both Titmus and O'Callaghan are back end swimmers - Interestingly seeing them evolve over the last 3 years, both swimmers have worked on their front end as well - most notably Titmus. I would say O'Callaghan is still a back-end swimmer however in the 200m Free she did put more in her front end IMO
Molly O at the aussie trials looked gutted she lost that race to titmus when they interviewed the both of them. Now she turns the tables on the big the stage but that last turn and underwater for molly o for the 50 was something special!
Love your enthusiasm and reporting
Technique , especially kick depends on distance, the longer distance swimmers favour 2 beat kick

both the 400 and 200 free have delivered so far, let's hope the 800 is as competitive as these two!
I’m fairly confident Ledecky take the 800, I’m also fairly confident that the race will be quite exciting.

She needed the double if not the treble to be considered an all time great, to be even on the same footing as Ledecky
@douglasbell8408 aged well lmao😂
@douglasbell8408 yeah lol good job to Titmus, she put up a good fight.

My Hero All 🥇🌟🏆
Congratulations All 🌻🌻🌻🌻
I Love you All 💛🧡💜💙⚓
Titmus needed to be out way faster to take the sting out of MOC’s finish - she never made MOC feel uncomfortable
Ariarne Titmus coached by Dean Boxall. Aussie swimmers are far from clean. Ask Shayna Jack, Australia’s heralded gold medal doper.
I prefer Terminator over Magic every time! 😔
