I had visited Dubai and Singapore for the projects. Used to see their underground metros and used to think when India will have this kind of infrastructure for all big cities. Now We can see the change happening. Down the line in next 5 years huge change will come in infrastructure of our country.

pre 2014 pune was never infocus of implementing a metro system, mumbai itself had only 11 kms of operational metro & the main talk & ficus was to somehow extend the metro netrork in mumbai. After 2014 when bjp won the elections it was then that the actual talk of implementing it in pune actually began & then they worked on it very fast & now its actually a dream to see such a long network actually operational within 9 yrs. Modi hai tho mumkin hai is not an exaggeration but this is one of the proofs to it.

If I see the fares toh phir bewakoofi hai. Unke liye jinke paas bike hai. Per kilometer cost lagbhag 2.5 rupees pad raha hai. Agar kisi ke paas electric bike ho, keemat toh 0.5 rupees pad jayegi. Toh phir metro se jayega kaun?
