I am a Norwegian, living in Thailand, and cannot by land here, as foreigners cannot buy land in Thailand. And we can own a max 49% of any company. There are, as far as a I know, similar rules in many other countries, for instance in Denmark. I think this is very sensible , particularly now where money easily flows across borders.

Let us recognize now that land ownership has a NATIONAL SECURITY, PUBLIC SAFETY, AND NATIONAL ECONOMY considerations. In the Philippines, our Constitution prohibits private land ownership by foreign companies and foreign individuals under certain exceptions. This may have prevented in a huge way the substantial takeover by countries like China of our national economy that would have driven our governemnt, and our people, into quiet submission. There are more important things in life than money, regardless if you're rich or poor - FREEDOM, DIGNITY, SENSE OF COMMUNITY, NOT BEING A STRANGER TO YOUR OWN COUNTRY.

Brand new battery recycling facility in Hopkinsville Kentucky was just shut down a couple weeks ago because the CEO had clear ties to the Chinese government. It also happens to be a stones throw from Ft. Campbell. Kinda of an odd thing isn’t it? The difference is that China is a socialist market economy and the US is a free market economy. In a free market economy, things are much relaxed, with less government intervention. That's why you can't buy land in China but you can here.
Also, I would like to point out, that there are lots of US companies in China, just to name a few, Disneyland, Starbucks, Taco bell, Costco, Sams, Boeing, Tesla, etc. You can also buy a home in China, too. So, it's not really that much different.

The federal government needs to make laws to limit land, buildings, and resources to people and entities with no more than 10 percent foreign investment/ ownership. And have all ownership be on the books, no loopholes that some states have to hide owners of companies.
Instead they are making deals to sell off america to foreign countries.

This is the part of economic theory that gets overlooked in academic discussions. Normally international trade is discussed in terms of goods & services. But there is nothing to prevent one trading partner from using an imbalance of payments to buy the other country's assets instead. We've seen it happen before when the imbalance existed with Japan. They tended to buy urban real estate in the form of landmark buildings. The Chinese seem to like buying manufacturing operations and port facilities. The Saudis like buying American land that gets them water rights. The solution is not legislation and out right bans, but to get your balance of payments back in order and keep it there.

The US exported both manufacturing and the pollution that goes along with it. We benefited from cheap foreign labor and cleaner water and air. Larry Sinclair, the man who, in 1999, while in Chicago, he did cocaine with Barry and then performed oral sex on Barry. This is a tale that Sinclair has told before. It’s worth noting because it reminds us of the partnership between the media and the democrat party. There were also some interesting details about big tech and a strange death, or maybe a few strange deaths.
It's very amusing when, after hearing Sinclair detail how he shared drugs with Barry and performed oral sex on him, Tucker asked Sinclair if that left a bad taste in his mouth, and Sinclair said that it did. There were two interesting parts of the interview with which I was not familiar. The first was Sinclair’s discussion about how the media and big tech went after him. Some media outlets lied about Sinclair’s criminal history, and then dismissed him as a criminal and a crackpot.
Others blacked out the story after the presidential campaign said that, if they reported on it, the campaign would blacklist them. They chose access over investigative reporting and honesty. They also chose it over national security. After all, a president with a secret life of drugs and gay sex is perfectly situated to be blackmailed, with huge national security consequences. But for the national political media, getting a black man into the White House was more important than America’s well-being.
Sinclair also explained that he was very quickly locked out of UA-cam. UA-cam gave someone else access to his account after he took a polygraph test and then deleted the video. Microsoft, meanwhile, allowed someone else access to his Hotmail account, with that person circulating his emails on the internet and creating an obscene automatic response to any emails sent to the account.
The second interesting thing was Sinclair explaining how, in late 2007, he reached out to the campaign suggesting that the campaign stop telling all sorts of conflicting stories about Barry’s drug use. The campaign, he said, should just admit that Obama was still using drugs at least as late as 1999. Sinclair didn’t hear back from the campaign. Instead, he heard from Donald Young, who explained that the campaign wouldn’t acknowledge any sex or drug stories about Obama.
According to Sinclair, Young eventually told him that he was the gay choirmaster at the Reverend Wright’s church, the one where Obama sat in the pews for 20 years as Wright blasted America. He also said that he had a long-term “intimate” relationship with Obama. Not long after that, Young was murdered in his apartment. Young’s mother believes that it was to silence him.
Searching Young’s name on the internet and came across an anti-Obama article from 2009. According to this article, Young was one of three gay men in Wright’s congregation who were executed within less than two months of each other. The local media suspected a gay killing rampage. However, the 2009 article suggests that they were killed because it’s possible that all three, not just Young, could have talked about Barry !X!X!

Effective January 1, 2023, the Government of Canada imposed a two-year ban on foreign buyers purchasing certain residential real estate in Canada.
This was done to try and slow the hot real estate market that was increasing beyond what the average Canadian could afford.
