Accordion is not Argentinian. It doesn't have one birthplace but many of people invented it. Like Friedrich L. Buschmann in 1829 (Germany), Cyrill Demian in 1829 too (Armenian inventor, not Austrian as many people say, which is wrong)
Throw in some violins, maybe a bass, some kinda percussion and a man saying 'oi' and you've got a folk hit
