Yes!! They are all timeless beauties. My favorite is Chanel no 5, it was the first expensive perfume I wore back in the late 70's. It always smells beautiful, no matter what occasion!!
THANK YOU for this amazing video on the “must haves” of French parfum. What would be the best way to acquire Chanel No. 5 parfum? I want the real deal! 💝
I fell in love with Anais Anais when it first came out in the early 80s, and I still prefer it to everything else I’ve ever tried. It’s a clean, fresh, powdery, floral, which is what I love. I don’t like spicy perfumes, musk or those that smell like food - they interfere with the taste of food. Fruit, spices like vanilla, etc. are popular here in the US, but they’re just not for me. The overpowering spicy perfumes of the 80s-90s were just awful, I smelled Obsession, Poison and similar ones everywhere I went. This era was when many offices, businesses, etc., started posting signs not to wear strong perfumes, and everyone has increasingly been against them. I really miss Anais Anais scented shower gel, discontinued a long time ago. I love layering the same fragrance in different products. Go easy on fragrances, one spray is plenty, and learn the differences between the different formulations like perfume, eau de toilette, cologne, etc., they vary a lot in strength and durability.
Am really curious have you tried Forever By Alfred Sung & if so what did you think. Been following you Tv but not on my laptop to ask this question. Its a very bright floral one.
I wear my Chanel No 5 out and the other day two women asked me what perfume I was wearing. One was a mature woman, and the other was a young girl who asked me.
Where do you find such small pretty bottles of the parfum you review? They don't look like the traditional sample bottles provided here in the US. It would be nice to be able to buy a small yet pretty bottle of a parfum to try out before you buy the large size bottle.
My favourite is DIORELLA, by Dior. It very difficult to find in Canada. Is it easy to find in Paris? I also love Channel No. 5 too. And, YSL and Rive Gauche.
My favorite is L'Air du Temps.

What is your opinion of Fragonard’s Reve Indien? It has some similarity to Shalimar but I find it more wearable. Thoughts?
Hello Paulette someone ask me the same question about this perfume… I need to take a look on Fragonard…
I love Shalimar
Me too. Beautiful French classic
I’ve heard of but not smelled Shalimar. It seems quite interesting to me.
One of the most iconic perfume ever. You have to try!
