Assembly by myself was not too hard. I took my time and followed the diagrams. I particularly like the pictures and names of the exercises organized by muscle groups on the front of the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxKJHyBZ9I1py9vVi-XLpEBg0y-qmdhn3q . Considering the number of exercises it has a relatively small footprint. I needed a machine that was not too tall because I only have 79" headroom in my cabin and this was just over 78". It is easy to use, seems to be well made, and I am pleased with my purchase. I am doing upper body muscles on Monday and Thursday. Lower body exercises are being done on Tuesday and Friday. Not using it on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I am a reasonably fit 66 year old man and this is a great workout.

So many different programs and exercises at the touch of a button. No need to remember weights and reps. Got this back in October. Work out with wife or kids without changing weights! Built in music. My PR on bench is 350lbs, and I am no where near maxing out on these workouts. It is idiotic to make negative comments about the Tonal without trying it. The Luddite in me wants to not like this machine, but wow, such integration. I wonder what all the ancillary costs are associated with this machine? Are their monthly fees to access specific workout packages or does everything come at once. I'd imagine there's a pretty robust backend offering (read monthly membership) that completes this concept.
(edit--->) $50/month for content, $500/bench+accessories+200 exercise access, $250 install fee

most likely u will have to pay a huge sum for it and it might come with the ea type sistem where u get workouts that u have to pay in order to do but its mostly has a free style optiin but i think the batterys or the elcticity bill is the problem here

The most intelligent fitness setup can be a smart human being having some deep knowledge of human anatomy and proper biomechanics...
    Nothing else is needed.
I really find it funny when people give excuses like lack of time/money/equipment and blah blah
During my student life in hostel days or in my master's day while I was busy with my research or now in my working life no matter what it is I always find a way to work out and keep myself in shape and fitness..and I've been in setups from supremely well equipped gym to below average gym to "no gym" to few therabands setups..
And based on my line of study and work what can I tell you is you can do it no matter what.. just know anatomy, mechanics and practical implications of those that's it ..
Fitness is not an adjunct..it's a lifestyle..embrace it!
    Best wishes..have a nice day

This looks great, but the exercise instruction looks very poor. You should consider making it possible for exercise instructors to create custom programs and instruction to sell through this, maybe on a subscription basis and pay them a commission on subscriptions. I would love to recommend this to many of my readers and clients, but only if better quality programming and instruction could be provided for it.
