mine was warped too, i contacted revell and the new one they sent was even more warped than the first, I got another one sent to me and it was straight, apart from that the kit comes together nicely, definitely build it and keep us updated

Thanks. Was it an easy process to get a replacement ?

@weekendhobbyist super easy, i got on the revell website by typing in revell spare parts in google, filled in a request form with the part number and what was wrong, emailed them some photos and about 3 weeks later it arrived to my house completely free of charge, great customer service by them

Luckily my body is not bended. You did't mention, that the instruction and pictures of the built kit on the side of the box showing "wrong" mirrors. With a little research you can say, yes, they are right because the first 100 built GTA had this "dual power-paddle-type" mirrors. But the cars are rare and the "standard" mirrors in the form of the drops (see the picture of the boxart on the top) are more common that those. Positive: the nicer mirrors are included.
Another wrong detail on the kit: it's a stick shift car. No problem. The GTA was available with stick shift. But if it has this transmission, there is no 5.7 liter engine in the bay. That was not available. Also was no T-Top available with the 5.7 Liter. Just details. But for an enthusiast ... you know. Greetings from Germany!

😂 I hope you recycled it. Darn I was hoping for better details with a larger kit 😐. The Tamiya larger kits are on my wish list 🙂

Looks like junk. Very poor quality. But I suppose it's possible to build. Gonna be a lot of work.

Yeah it’s a pretty old tooling. Worth a build? 😐

@@weekendhobbyist It's worth building if you're willing to put in the time I suppose. If it's in your hands and you have time. Go for it.

@@stephenullman4534 Did you ever bult one? I'm definitaly not saying, that this kit is yunk. On this kit the doors and rear hatch fittig good, the detais are pretty good. THe rims, rear light are super. There is absolutely no problem to built it together. I think, you've never built one or you just can't handle it.
I've built a couple of the first issue of that GTA, the 1984 Trans AM by Revell and MPCs Trans Am of the 3rd Generation. If I had the choice todey, I'd take this GTA on the spot. Not even thinking about a second. I have one in my shelf - no question.
      Just my two cents.
