Rebuilding My Iconic Minecraft Builds: The Sway Tower
Вставка
- Опубліковано 1 жов 2024
- This video will focus on my blow by blow account of rebuilding my old build... Sway Tower, the world's tallest un-reinforced concrete tower. Built by Andrew Thomas Turton Peterson, it is located in England, Hampshire, in the New Forest national park.
I once built this Minecraft build back in 2020 but have now rebuilt it to give it more detail and a better overall feel

What a nice surprise for a Sunday evening, you always inspire us with something cool.
super nice video, love the idea and the result turned out great! :)
Really nice to see you upgrading good work to even better updated work! ❤ love to see you do more so we can all see how you go to work and inspire us 😊
Really cool to see how much a difference your approach to building has made!
Always love your vids ❤
I never get tired of this Chanel
Chanel is a poor quality brand
@snaptrap723 in what way? What’s poor quality and what are you comparing it to?
@@WBCBuilds ahah it’s because I misspelled channel 😂
Oh lord haha I didn’t even read it properly 😂
I prefer Dior
Very enjoyable video. Thanks for putting it together. I'd be interested in more of this :)
I really liked this. Not only is it a good learning video, it shows an approach to revamping a build that is often overlooked.
I usually use hoppers for the tops of the drain pipes. They look pretty good in most cases.
It’s great to see the difference in just a few years. Is this something you’ll be doing more often?
I plan to do this with the 4 builds I had previously constructed for the original Bricks to blocks. Then once they are done I can kick off a new series of BtB
Nice I look forward to that. 👍🏻
Beautiful rebuild!
Hi WBC! Love your builds! I had a question, I would like to build a mansion similar in style to the "Haunted Mansion" Attraction at Disneyland California. Do you know what architectural style that would be closest to so I could look up references for that type of design? And any building tips?
A little tip for you debugging expirence, you seem to debug each wall and fence by itself one by one when instead you can bind //repl 1 to another tool and pick it up debugged and replace the rest its much faster and it stays debugged just like u done it
Are you able to test distant horizons on your server or is that not compatible with what you have?
Love this ❤
Okay, I love this. I adore building videos like this where we really get to peer into the builder's process and reasoning.
I’ve got a couple more of these coming out soon! Then it’s onto my new series of “From bricks to blocks” which will follow this format I believe
5:47 Personally to center dripstone I just use display entities, of course *not* using them at all is a restriction you might impose on yourself, however in this case I think it is valid regardless since the end result could theoretically be achieved by other means
I’m not a fan of display block entities and won’t be using them for my builds
Sway gang
Sorry I'm late everyone
Lo cambia todo

Sometimes, you don't realize how far you've come until you compare what you can do now to what you could do before.
What a wonderful rebuild. It really is amazing how useful walls can be for detailing at sub-block scales. Learned a lot today! I think it would be great to see you do a few more of these, especially if you're exploring different ways you're using blocks now vs previously.
Exactly!
Yes there are 4 more videos planned for this theme of rebuilding old builds
really not a fan of the floating levers. For me the added detail is not worth the detached, jacked look it entails
It’s a tricky balance to strike when trying to get those little bits of details in
great video, waiting for bricks to blocks
These are the same in italy

Nice build! One thing I‘ve noticed is your constant smacking tho.
Especially around 23:29. Makes me feel very uncomfortable
It’s the way I talk, I can’t help it. Unless you have a way for me to literally change the shape of my mouth then it is what it is
I get one or two of comments every few months and I honestly can’t say I hear it myself when editing etc. well not until someone mentions it and then I can hear them every so often.
Having looked online just now about it seems people get very angry at YTers for making such noises which is crazy, it’s literally a natural part of speaking when your mouth is somewhat dry
