    Awesome review! I just bought this grinder and the anxious to already have it in my hands brought me to this video, and now im more sure of the grinder that i bought haha

    I have the "max" version, which is basically the pro but a bit longer, just fits enough beans (~ 35 gr) to fill my moka pot :) Love how sturdy it is, which is a key factor for me for most things I buy. And how beautiful it looks, I've got the black version, but more of a "black" person as well ;) But also all those details.. love the rough texture on the outside.
    I saw in other reviews as well it doesn't do espresso that well, but I only have "manual" gear anyway, like aeropress, moka pot, etc. (I love simple devices where you have room to use it in different ways). So for me it's perfect, especially since I could buy it for a really decent price (around 75 euro) 👍

      Yup for the price and quality we would pit the c3s pro up there. There is definitely a zenness to having everything manual.

    A comparison with the Kingrinder K2 would be perfect! Hope you can get one in for review. Any Kingrinder really, but the K2 seems to be the one closest feature/price-wise.

      Haha, we'll see if we can get our hands on the K2.

    Hihi nice review, for the top bearing , flat surface should be facing up? Thanks , true it is odd that they never include in the manual

    I do struggle a bit between the timemore handgrinder and a commandante. As i know it is a big pricing step between them but i do think about it, if its worth it. I'll use it for V60 filter coffee. Can u recommend me either you'd invest bit more for commandante C40 MK4 or go for a timemore?

      I think it is your first hand grinder or you are relatively new into specialty coffee, we still recommend the c3s pro.

    how should we clean the grinder? are we allowed to wash it with brush and soap?

    • @awan1475
      @awan1475 2 місяці тому

      and should we clean after every use or once a week or so?

    • @hisbrewcoffee
      @hisbrewcoffee  2 місяці тому +2

      @awan1475 definitely don't have to clean after every use. I would say depending on your usage but for most people once a month should be more than enough.

      the instruction that came with it warns against using liquid or water to wash, they recommend using brush and airblow

    6:46 wait, whut? Didn't know it can be disassembled so easily :D The manual said you're not supposed to and didn't give any description for it. Which I usually don't give a sh%t about but I assumed it would be a bit awkward and never gave it a try so far..

      Yeah it's weird that for all of timemore grinder they mention not to disassembled it. But it just doesn't make sense, because you'll have to clean it every so often. Glad you like your max
