Good list but if you gonna mention Amon Amarth Twilight of the thundergod is not the best. More like "Fate of norns", "1000 years of oppression", "Asator", "Varyags of Miklagaard" are better.
Notice the guy in the glasses thats Jacob Hansen their procucer (all their albums), has worked as a producer and/or engineer ( mixing and mastering) for Volbeat (all albums), Unleash the Archers, Epica, Delain, Doro, Mercenary, Evergrey, U.D.O., Ad Infinitum, and Dynazty just to mention a few.
Pls do Sabaton. They have so many great songs. Like seven pillars of wisdome, 82nd all the way, The attack of the dead men, Bismarck,Carolus rex and so many more. Almost all of their songs are about real events or real peaple. They have a history channel also were they and a historian talk about the songs and the person or battle.
Attack of the Dead Men now you're speaking my language. Was NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical warfare specialist) in the army. A song covering that is fascinating, disturbing, and amazing... Thank you Sabaton.

@@Jimmytollarp im doing fine man, I can not argue with that statement, I as well can't get enough of Sabaton, so I just started to learn more swedish with En Livstid i Krig, such a good song, it would have been amazing to see them play it live in Gothenburg this year
@@antontaao69 En livstid i krig is very special specially here in sweden were all the crowd are singing. I have plans to go to Sabaton open air this summer so i hope they play it there. The carolus Rex album is better in Swedish so its good that you are learning the lauange
When I branched out from Nightwish, Amaranthe was one of the bands Pandora included. I like a TON of Amaranthe songs. You're right about their sound, and a lot of songs seem fun. I am not totally comfortable with the new clean male vocalist, yet, but I love their 3-voices-together thing.
I do need to check them out more, for sure.
I know Elize and Alissa had to do a NW show, when Anette flaked on them (she was "ill") they did really great considering they didn't really know all of the lyrics and even had them printed out on paper to sing along. There's footage of that on UA-cam if you're interested.

I'm so excited I get to go see Amaranthe, Seven Spires and Battle Beast in August with meet and greet love all three of the bands. Your exactly right as soon as a song starts you know its them. The band has gone through change in both clean male and harsh vocals since back 6 years ago this is their new line up but there old stuck kicks ass too.
Keep up the good work you're gonna discover all kinds of awesome bands doing reactions.

In 1918, a man named Alvin York entered World War I, as a private in the United States Army. He was from the backwoods of Tennessee, where he had grown up learning to hunt. When he arrived in France, he was assigned to 82nd Airborne Division, 328th Regiment. While enlisted, his first combat feat was capturing 128 German soldiers -- singlehandedly. Later, at Hill 223, he captured another 142 German soldiers, and disabled 5 German machine-gun nests, by capturing the soldiers or tossing a hand grenade into the nest -- also singlehandedly.
Sgt. Alvin York was the most decorated American soldier of World War I, for the combat feats he accomplished.
Note: The lyrics state Sgt. York was assigned to 338th Regiment, a mistake Sabaton has since corrected.

Small correction at the time the 82nd was just a normal infantry division, airborne tactics were nonexistent at the time.

@@TauriReacts I look forward to it! I would highly recommend checking out more of their stuff. Their most recent album is called Helix and literally all of the songs on it are great, including "365", "Helix", "Inferno", and "Unified".
Glad you had fun with this one! I definitely think you should check out the Sabaton version too, although I prefer this one. (Please don't crucify me, Sabaton fans!!!) GG6 is another really fun recent one from Amaranthe, a lot heavier than usual too!

The new clean male singer in Amaranthe is very very good. It's a real shame how little they used his vocals on the last album. You should check out his main band Dynazty. The song "The Human Paradox" is a good place to start...
I blame Henrik for making me growl the bridge before solo("What sergeant York achieved that that echoes from France to the USA..."), even when listening to Sabaton original...This cover is so damn good. Please do check out some Sabaton songs...Ghost division live from Woodstock 2012 is a fun one, their traditional concert opener.

@Tauri Reacts: Have you heard Unleash the Archers? Only 2 singers -- one male, one female -- but their mix of clean and distorted is amazing!
If you have heard them, what did you think of their power metal style?
I only ask because from what I can see on your channel, you haven't reacted to Brittney Slayes and Unleash the Archers yet -- I would say to get a good taste of her vocals, "Awakening," "Call Me Immortal," "The Coward's Way," "Dreamcrusher," last but not least, their cover of "Queen of the Reich," a Queensryche song.
Other good ones are "Northwest Passage," a cover of "Heartless World," "Tonight We Ride," "Test Your Metal," and "Frozen Steel."
Just saying, Brittney Slayes is on the level of Floor Jansen and her vocals.
I have heard of them, but only one song, "awakening". I really loved what I heard though and do need to check them out some more.

For me, Brittney's voice brings me a joy I don't hear most of the time -- and I'm giddy, because I am looking at going to a show they will be performing at on March 18th! It's the closest one, since I'm in lower Michigan, and the show is in Detroit.

it seems like it just these swedish bands that are playfull in there,s music vidios fund it funny ;)
Amaranthe is great but the originals are much better. Can you please react to Eluveitie - Rebirth. It will blow your head off ... in a good way ... ehmm ...yeah.
I do love Amaranthe... but this is still a cover from Sabaton....

Idk I'm not a fan of this cover. I feel like they just decided to throw everything together without much reason for it. Like Joakim has a very manly voice that fits perfectly with war songs. And this band is more like, hey we got female singer so let just throw her in there, oh yeah and of course we need screamo because every song about WW1 got to have screamo in it.
You clearly aren't familiar with Amaranthe's work. The triple vocals are what they do... in all their songs... I wasn't aware they "needed a reason" to sound like they always do... literally always.
