- Our electrical apprentice students at Tresham College are doing the City and Guilds 5357. This video is to inspire them as they work towards 107 task B. In this video they are producing 90 degrees bend in steel cable tray. The learners fabricate (make) flat, internal and external 90 degree bend in steel (metal) cable tray.
Videos are training aids for City and Guilds (C and G) and EAL courses Level 1, 2, 3 plus AM2, AM2S and AM2E.

Nice one Gaz. 👍
Great video👍
When I did my level 2 we were taught to do flat 90* in tray and not a sweeping 90* for our final assessment
Hi, we make an internal, external and a flat 90 degree bend when working with tray. The flat 90 is for the assessment. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍. Gaz

Good vid, but that tray is muck. Are the apprentices taught how to bend high wall heavy duty tray?
We do use return flange cable tray as well... sadly it all comes down to cost. Thanks for commenting and watching. Gaz 👍
Information please, how to,calculate travel for swept 90° bent for 100mm tray and other, for example 200x50, 300x50 and up?
