This is a great help, Thanks. I am making a replacement base for a lazy-boy recliner rocker where the sides of the base are set at 88 degrees so they are narrower at the back than the front. I am making it around 4" higher than the original to save my knees. This shows me how to angle the tenon which is what I need. The front is not compounded but is at 90 degrees which is a help for a first timer where I only have one thing to watch. All the best
Awesome Charles! You're one smart cookie. 😊. I'm just starting to learn and I want to make me a stool to sit on while I'm at my work bench. I'm gonna use 2x4 studs and the legs are going to be angled 7 degrees. My puny brain power is trying to figure out the best way to joint the legs to the rungs and top part. I'd like to use angled mortise and tenon joints instead of behaving to buy that popular pocket hole jig thing. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. 😊❤️😇
As always, a simple solution to what normally represents a complicated situation. Thanks so much for sharing.
Now that is slick, really smart way to deal with tricky angles.
Such a simple jig. Great idea with the mirror as well. Thanks for sharing.
