This lawsuit should include a thrice an hour ad run on Fox News for a month where they admit to these lies. And each of the hosts that perpetuated that lie be forced every show for a month to also address the audience to admit they lied. Make the penalty for failing to do so a permanent revocation of the Fox News broadcast license.
Fox News is cable, not broadcast. Fox-affiliated channels which are broadcast are not Fox News.

I don't have time or clarity right now to dig into 20 pages on the FCC today; in 10 minutes I haven't found anything yet on *content restrictions* for cable. I think I was working off the explanation for why late night shows can say things daytime shows can't; regulation on broadcast daytime content.

Should Fox be found guilty isnit conceivable that the court could force them to publically on air retract their election denial lies in unambiguous terms. Would it be possible to have every host that took part in the Big Lie be made to make this retraction on the air not just once but repeatedly just as they repeatedly perpetuated the lie itself. That would seem to me to be the minimum that they should be made to do. Then their viewership can make up their own minds about their continued patronage.

I was wondering the same thing about the deposition questions.
I am thankful that Rupert didn't come to America and become a citizen, only to disregard are Constitutional laws of telling the truth while under oath.
I don't have high regard for Murdoch overall, but he I extend respect and admiration for his playing it fair, white UNDER OATH.
Giving deposition under penalty of perjury, is thee closest thing we have to a truth serum.
Murdoch has a more realistic view of our civil courts than Trump does. He doesn't want to get charged with perjury, but he also realizes, due to having a higher quality team of lawyers than available to Trump, that going into a civil lawsuit and pleading the fifth can be (and likely would be) construed as an admission of guilt. You don't have an automatic Fifth amendment right in civil suites to not have your pleading the Fifth to be withheld from juries.
