In truth it is DANGEROUS. All anyone who is truly serious about the future stability of this Democratic Republic has to do is read a LITTLE bit of European history. The subject is : 1930's Weimar Republic of Germany and how Adolph Hitler, using his genius propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels and "modern" radio, LIED, LIED, and LIED again to the German people.
Goebbels and Hitler were the 20th Century precursor to the 21st Century Rupert Murdoch and Donald Trump.
Willful ignorance, arrogance and sheer pigheadedness will be the downfall of the United States of America.
And, being "America" the perpetrators of this downfall will become MULTI BILLIONAIRES - it is the American way.

It is truly amazing how much time, effort, and resources it has and will continue to take to finally "catch up" with the most criminal and damaging ex-president, Chump, in US history. Is it not time to cut the wings of Murdoch and his empire? I think that countries like the USA, the UK, and Australia have a responsibility here since they have enabled Murdoch's empire to grow so big and become so enormously powerful. I hope that Dominion will win this defamation case and pay a hefty price but also that the commentators involved pay a heavy price.

In the “free market” that exists in these democracies, it’s difficult if not impossible to restrict or control these media barrons. Not that I’m in favour of Murdoch, Hannity Fox et al for one second but it’s just the sad reality of the world we live in. When you see and compare how Putin is controlling the Russian media in his propaganda of his war against Ukraine there is hardly a hair width between that and what has happened and still happening with the 2020 (and 2022) US elections. Only hope when all the fact emerge and Fox and all the guilty executives and reporters (and politicians) are tried and convicted that they disappear forever.
Fox is curtailed in the UK and in Canada also. His papers and news is even restricted in his home country if Australia.
His cash cow is the United States where it it obviously not against the first amendment to lie. At least not until you cost another corporate entity some cash.
Let's hope that this successful lawsuit wakes up the DNC and provides a roadmap of how to handle Fox damaging lies and propaganda.
