125 gallon saltwater reef tank update. I will be getting a screen top for the reef tank from top lids and new LED lighting to check out from Finnex. I love Finnex LED lighting. This was the same tank I started with before I upgraded to my 180 gallon acrylic aquarium. I'm working on recovering my tank from long neglect, and dosing Dr. Tim's and Bright well bacteria into my system. I appreciate how you keep up with the hobby despite the ups and downs encountered. Sumps are great, I had them for years, but now I'm much happier with the canisters.

Looks good but be careful about adding more fish, canister filters are not providing as much gas exchange as a sump would, gas exchange helps oxygen enter the water.

Plenty of gas exchange, and way more than a sump, with mesh lids and a power head pointed at the surface of the water. Thanks though and thanks for watching!!

@@ROTTERtube I attached an airstone to my Gyre with the air pump set to turn on for 5 minutes ever hour. Tons of teeny tiny bubbles flowing throughout the tank. Great for gas exchange.

I'll add an ayirstone in my overflow so the bubbles don't show up in the tank.
