@@brucekilby9957 fair enough. Kenny is Parramattas GOAT to me. Parramatta has only had 1 immortal play for them A.Beetson. Sterling isn't a immortal. Now that's funny
40yrs + eels fan here...well done...Brett Kenny my all time favourite player still...but have to agree there with Eric Grothe...the only player ive ever seen...and ive attended most origins at Lang park in the 80s 90s...who when he got the ball your heart rate goes up...the air of excitement and anticipation that literally anything can happen was something you waited for during the game....give it to grothe give it to grothe...PS Jarryd Hayne came close to that...for mine...
I'm glad the only time I played against Eric it was touch footy. It was first div. out at Cabramatta and he used to run with the same style, leaning forward, that he used in tackle. He would have been a nightmare to try to tackle!
It's a bit unfair. With the 80s lineup none of the more recent players are ever going to get a look in. When talking Parra, you need a longer list so some of these more recent players can get some of the glory. But I'm with everyone else here: Kenny was magic. The next immortals should be Steve Rogers, Kenny, and Price. Followed in time by the next generation like Clyde, Daley, Fittler. Then, and only then, all those Queenslanders of recent times, we are constantly told are shoe-ins: Lockyer, Slater, Smith, Thurston, Cronk, and Inglis (though of course Inglis was actually a New South Welshman! But that's another story!)
Awesome guy. Brett Kenny is the best Parramatta player of all time in my eye's.
Brett Kenny should be an Immortal
1000% Mate, He was a Marvel.
Pete Stirling should be a immortal if he's not yet. Kenny was a great player. 🏉🇦🇺

I'm glad Peter mentioned Brett Kenny cause he was brilliant
immortal
@@danfloros4267 it's a crime he isn't one already.
The title of “Immortal” would sit comfortably with any of those guys, especially Grothe, Price, Kenny and Sterling…and I’m not a Parra supporter.
Picked all five. Shame I can't do it with lotto or something.
