Climbing Bårddetjåhkkå | Sarek

In Late August 2018 we went into Sarek National park to climb Bårddetjåhkkå and Bálgattjåhkkå 2 of the 12. 2000m mountains in Sweden. But we only made it to Bårddetjåhkkå this time.

Great video! The views you captured are spectacular! So nice to see mountain hiking in other parts of the world. I'm heading back to Grand Canyon tomorrow to hike in a different part of the canyon. Excited to see Havasu Falls! Hopefully I'll get some good pics :)

Thanks for the great video. We did this this week after watching it. It's quite an effort including the travel from Stockholm, the hike and then the climb. But well worth it!

Hi. Thx for posting. I hope to hike from Kvikkjokk to Parte and then up to the observatory. Can you give any info regarding the route up? Is it pretty straightforward? From there I want to go down the north side of the mtn, following the glacier. Have you done that? Any info appreciated. Thx

That's a good trip! It's no real rout up, it's just a big rocky slope just walk up that slope and you will arrive probably a bit to the west of the observatory. North West of the observatory is really steep down to the glacier but on the map it looks like you might can go down further to the east but I haven't been there. Good luck on the trip I'm sure it will be amazing! Just be careful on the glacier👊
