@@AzzeddineXT Yeah exactly. It would need to sprint 4x as fast as a normal vill. I think on a boar or deer with survival techniques would be good, or on a mining camp where it doesn't have to walk far would be best. On a woodline it's not wasted, but also not optimal.
I haven't followed information about the patch before release so I was caught a litle of guard by the Wild Man dealing magic drugs :) I guess they're still more realistic than Prelates with their ability to heal units and motivate people to work which is clearly unrealistic since noone has ever been motivated by an old man yelling at them.
Pro tip: Single unit armies SUCK! Only Knights can do single unit armies, and they still should get some support with magnonels for pike/xbows/handcannons.
I don't understand the logic behind putting monsters in an aoe game. Like we already have AOM why make a historical RTS have monsters lol. Don't get it really
games getting near the end of its lifetime so add whatever for enjoyment. and to spice things up, i mean theres other ways like world events like storms but yeah
It's kind of random but I think it's only here for this season? I dunno, doesn't seem that broken and it's kind of fun I guess. The sacred grove thing from before was a lot more of a departure from the setting honestly.
@Paradachshund I was just getting back into aoe 4 I didn't know about the other stuff. I might still try the game agian but this seems kinda weird realistically I'll just go back to aoe 2 de
@@paradachshund I suppose, monsters will be in the game forever. But they will be available on specified maps only. It would be great to have opportunity to switch them off. There is no place for such things in a historical game. Yes, mythology is a part of history too, but I don't want to play in aoe with magicians, elves, undeads and other fantasy stuff.
Elephants taking down keeps with their tusks is 100% historically accurate (not). We already have fantasy in the game: A monk holding a trinket and muttering the spell "wolololo" isn't going to convert units within a few seconds within a fixed radius to the enemy's army. So just cry into a tissue, deal with it, and move on.
+300% means it's worth 4 villagers.
Ty. I was going to say that too.
Testing ya guys...
not exactly, 4 villagers without wheelbarrow can carry 40 resources, buffed up one still only 10

@@thegorn just mining and farms id say
boar if u have the mill right next to it
Imagine working 300% harder with a wild man's bone
Kinda wish buffed villagers received regen or bonus health

HRE Man at Arms and the new Gulam can do it too. But yes, ideally they have some mangos to kill of Xbows.
I want Wild Man Nothing.
Nothing but a map full of Wild Man.
Wild Man Klan
are these monsters appear on all maps in ranked and other playmodes or only on specific maps?
Nah don't be dissin Waldo now!
This was already casted by drongo right?
I mean it was uploaded here first, but yes we both covered this game, it happens from time to time, not a lot we can do about it really.
