    I am using PhoenixOS in duel boot with windows 10. The keyboard setting isn't supporting Urdu typing. I have installed gboard which is perfectly supporting Urdu phonetic keyboad and smooth typing on my android smart phone, but on PhoenixOS it does show Urdu keyboard layout and its onscreen keyboard types Urdu too, but my laptop's physical keyboard isn't typing Urdu. It's typing English even though I have switched to Urdu kb. If you have any idea or solution, kindly help.

    Great assessment of the 4 different OS's. I am currently trying out Prime OS on an Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Motherboard with an AMD 6100 CPU. The sleep function works properly(computer goes to sleep after about 10 seconds) and has not randomly rebooted after about 2 days of constant usage. The only issue that I have with Prime OS is that its internet connection (hard wired) drops every hour or so and I have to restart the system in order to regain internet connectivity. If I find a work around I will post it.
    The issue I have with Android X86, on 2 different systems, is that it has no sound...on either of them. I have tried to increase the sound in the setting menu but that does change anything...still no sound. The first system using the same Gigabyte 970A-UD3P Motherboard with an AMD 6100 CPU and the other using an ASUS M5A99FX Motherboard with an AMD FX 8370 CPU.

    I found Bliss OS 11 works great on my Dell Inspron laptop. All the streaming apps work IPTV apps like Tivimate and Ott Navigator and way back to perfect player all work great. Wifi and hardwired both work, sound,USB ports everything just works. I really like android with 8 GB of ram. I tried the Phoenix and it also worked great but ads and unable to install a few apps before it disallows you to install more. Can be unlocked but with Bliss running so good i wont bother with Phoenix anymore.

    I just try Bliss Os ... hmmm good idea they made but I can't can't my data from my actual google play, also I got issue using my mouse ... the interface seems smoother then android x86 but it doean't works at all. Bliss seems to use Android x86 and adding/modifying stuff. They installed be default an app to root the "fake phone or tablet" but it's doesn'T work to uplaod the data. So Bliss it's a waste of time

  • @chefmike8888
    @chefmike8888 4 місяці тому +1

    lol, I love that all of theses have the same common thread. They all suck but the original, oldest, least tinkered with choice is a 2017 os. Android just scares me, way too much emphasis put on making pretty sparkly things. Not so much on a stable, useable and consistent flow. And rule number one, NEVER trust any os that not only comes with Facebook installed but no matter what you do you can’t even turn it off let alone delete it. That was where they totally lost me.
    Thank you for helping me decide which is to choose. Off to Linux it is. 👍🏼

      If you install it you can't activate the play store because the activation server has shutdown since 2017 so remix os is a no-no

      Yeah some how automagically the activator is still working. Also if it wasn't side loading or using F-Droid or APKpure is not a deal breaker for me anyways ... I'm guessing I'm not alone in the sentiment. The lack of any development will eventually drive me to other options but for now I still like Remix.

      0- Make sure you have enabled installation from unknown sources
      1- Download the .apk file you want
      2- Open the file manager
      3- In the left side column, click on your HD storage.
      4- Go to the downloads folder and open your .apk there.
      This will work fine. For some reason, it's not possible to open the .apk directly from the browser, not even going to the downloads folder directly. It has to be through file manager > Storage > Downloads
