Just bought them and the noise cancellation in the mic and the ANC are both incredible. Sound quality for listening to music is also beyond great compared to flagship headphones from sony or bose. Totally worth the money. Recommended mostly for remote workers
Thanks for the comment! I love them! They are the best headphones I ever had for use with everything. I just can't get this same experience as a salesman in real estate with any other headphones. There's always something lacking. Jabra nailed it with this one!
@@mikebrooke9737 it’s gotta be the most comfortable I headset I’ve used for everything. I can use this for my calls for listening to music for just wearing around the house as normal headphones. I truly love this product.
I'm using these for a few weeks already. The mic quality is outstanding. It literally cuts out all the chipchating of people sitting a meter away from me (that was always an issue in my open space office). Maybe the only problem is a bit weak ANC, but for this form factor (not closed ear cups) it's quite acceptable. Of course I could pay more and get Evolve 85 with proper sound sealing over my ears, but they are too heavy and look chunky. Evolve 65 Flex are ideal for those who expect wearing the headset for 4h a day at least.
Excellent review and spot on. For high quality calls where mic and comfort is key - this is the best. The previous Evolve2 75 and 65 are also very very good, but for calls was too heavy/fatique and more music/sound quality than for calls.
Now thats what i call review out of so many reviews i have seen. Yes what you said jabra should fix with software update for switching preference issue. Thank you for perfect review.
Wow, thanks for demonstrating the mic quality in a real coffee shop settings. I've been looking so hard for a headset with good microphone quality, and it's really hard to test even you get to try out the headsets at a retail shop.
@@minchoi6535 I bought it too, and the mic worked perfectly in cancelling BG noise. It doesn't pick up any background noise even when my neighbours are doing renovations or when planes are flying loudly overhead. Could it be that your phone is streaming all audio streams to the call, instead of solely from the headset's mic itself?
Hi Adam. I have been experiencing issues with the mic cutting out my voice and I have seen that happen in video reviews as well. Also, looking in the Reddit forum for Jabra, a few folks are reporting the same issue. Maybe it is because of the short boom mic or, hopefully, a firmware issue. What has your experience been in this regards? Thanks
Hi@@TechOutAdam. Thanks for your reply. The headset struggles to pick up my voice, particularly if the boom mic moves just a bit away from my mouth. I start to cut out and people start saying that they are losing me... Very sad for a headset that I really like. Thanks!
Thanks for the review. I just received this headset .. I love how compact and light it is.. but for the clear voice technology microphone. Is there setting I need to adjust? Because when I made few phone calls to my friends to test out, they all said they heard my background music not even loud playing). What am I doing wrong?
Hmm, what software are you using? Sometimes you need to go to your sound settings and your computer and make the input setting is switched to the headset for the microphone while on calls. Does that make sense?
@@TechOutAdam yes. Make sense. But even when I am paring with my phone? Only using it for phone calls not for the TEAMs meeting..when I activate ANC function I can't heat background which l love, however, my friend on the other line can hear background noise.. do you know what I mean? I am so sad that I can't even use this well even after watching your video twice
Excelent reviews, and particularily was very useful to me the explanation about the difference with the evolve 2 55, beacuse thats my case, I really need the best noise canselling mic experience, more than Even good speakers, or anything else. I have seen tons of videos comparing those 2, the he E 2 65 and 55 but nobody else, highlited clearly that difference like You, so it was very helpful , thank u so much for the excelent and detailed reviews 👍👍👍
Do you get all the features if you usb it while it has battery (and it’s turned on)? The older model o noticed actually remains connected to the two paired devices (dongle and smart phone) and additionally also treats the usb connected computer as a THIRD connected device! Does this do that too?
Man great question! So far it literally testing that right now it uses the headset as a USB device but not a bluetooth device on your computer but I wasn't able to to connect to two separate devices at the same time after that. Maybe with a software update it'll change.
@@TechOutAdam I was honestly surprised the older evolve2 headsets DID do this, usually devices behave like your describing, prioritizing the usb device over the Bluetooth connection.
I liked it when I got it then my ear cushion started dropping off by accident then one time it really dropped and I lost it. Tried finding replacements and I can’t find it locally so I don’t recommend getting it due to a design flaw and that I can’t get replacements in Singapore.
I asked Jabra for a review unit of the Evolve2 75 so hopefully I get that soon. Would love to do a split test. I do love and recommend the 65 Flex but I can tell from other review the mic and ANC is much stronger with the 75.
Thank you! I do my best. I love testing them in real life scenarios because anything can happen and it shows that I'm not trying to make the headset sound good or bad. It's either going to do well or it won't. Thanks so much!
Great question, I've used both for a while now and would absolutely go for the Evolve2 65 Flex. It's more compact, the mic sounds better, it's much more comfy, all of it. The Tilde Pro is good but I don't like the design whatsoever lol
Hello Adam, does Jabra have an Android app compatible with the Evolve2 65 Flex? Also want to ask if this headset microphone noise cancelation works as good if you use it only with your mobile phone?
One question before I buy this one - can I use the ear pieces on either side? What I am trying to ask is .. the ear piece with mic dongle does rotate 360 degree to accomodate both left or right sides?
Is here any headset with multipoint that doesn’t shift to mobile phone when the phone ring? I almost always have this problem.. and so far i have trained myself to just disconnect phone when i m expecting an online meeting.
I think most just want the mic to be as close to the mouth as possible to really only pick up your voice and reduce background noise but this headset did incredible in the mic test. Not sure why else though just my guess. Are you using any headsets right now?
@@TechOutAdam Yea I thought that explanation is why companies make the boom mic longer - in the video I got the impression that you think the mic sounded better BECAUSE it's short (something about the airway), not DESPITE
@@deersakamoto2167 The only reason the short mic on this Headset sounds good, is because it has multiple microphones to filter out the sourounding noise from your voice. That requires additional hardware and signal procressing, which is expensive. Since 99% of the market wants "as cheap as possible" you won't see this often.

Mine is a big head. Does this fit big heads comfortably? The headset looks small in the pics though.
