This is why you don't put invasive species in ponds. ESPECIALLY in Florida, like come on dude. This is exactly why Florida and other states impose strict rules regarding pets/animals.
Yeah, this should be incentive to not put anymore non-native species of fish in your pond, and you should DEFINITELY not put any of your non-native turtles in that pond. If the bottom of your fence isn't anchored into the ground all the way around your yard they can and will definitely find a way out and then you've added another invasive to Florida.
@@NickBingo That's good. I don't mean this as an insult, I just don't want anymore trouble for all you guys down there in Florida making content like this. With the FWC trying to pass laws that would basically make the exotic pet hobby illegal down there the last thing you, Blake, Kenan, or any of the others need is them trying to use anything you guys do as examples to give legitimacy to their bogus bills. I love your content and it's awesome to see you and all the other get to do this stuff. Stay awesome and stay safe down there during all the crazy that's going on right now.
Chain link fence might stop the big ones but the smaller fish that were stocked and the fry and juveniles of every species in that pond can totally fit through the gaps
@@NickBingo are you serious? So because it’s your pond, you’re entitled to introduce invasive species into the environment because of how irresponsible you are?
I'm so sorry bro, I hope you recover, but anyways, I hope you recover from this, I hope whoever was affected by the hurricane recovers. Thanks for staying safe and I hope that none of your family got affected. Glad you're ok. I was waiting anxiously to hear from you
Wow, just wow. I'm in Nevada where we get occasional flash floods when it rains hard, but nothing like what you guys in Florida get. Glad everything went well and Thank You, as always, for sharing.
Finely a new vid you the best nick i have waited and now yes!You gave me the inspiration to have a aquarium and fishes TYSM! And keep going never stop!!!!!And i hope you and your animals and your family friends and everyone One can recover quickly snd safe!!!
16 comment hope you and all your animals made it through the hurricane Nick sending prayers to your family and all the other families that were hit in Florida you are the best UA-camr ever keep up the great work 💯👍💪💪👍💯👍💪
When you guys get an overflow in your pond I dunno why you just don't stake nets up and around them to keep your fish in even garden pea netting would do I reckon too late now and netting on your overflow pipes
Didn’t this dude put allot of gold fish in his pound??? Uh ohhhhhhhhh 😳😳😳 I saw this coming!!! none native invasive fish coming to a river or canal near you!
you: guys you won't believe there's a gator in the pond me: stopped in the middle of the road to high school a few years back to let a gator cross the road, has friends who hunt gators, caught a gator on a fishing pole, and is related to some of the people who played on swamp people, and lived a few miles from them
My mom lives in Cape Coral and was hit directly. Luckily she and the rest of my family down there are ok. Looks like a war zone but they came out unscathed.
Should put some mesh along the bottom couple feet of your fence. Even if it floods it'll keep any fish from getting in or out. Esp if you're putting invasive species in your pond.
Crazy video hope you all enjoyed it! Thankful everything here is safe. Prayers out to anyone affected by hurricane ian🙏
Crazy
🙏
Yes I hope all of the people affected by the hurricane are ok x sending prayers :)
My whole yard was 4 feet deep of water and almost got in my house. Glad your safe too
You need to get a big pump and a very long hose and make sure that pond stays level and fish in it
This is why you don't put invasive species in ponds. ESPECIALLY in Florida, like come on dude. This is exactly why Florida and other states impose strict rules regarding pets/animals.
This is why you don't keep invasive fish in ponds .

That’s how invasives are spread throughout Florida
I love how nick is only caring about the fish

Always open to others opinions but good thing is it is anchored down throughout the whole yard.
Kind of agree I kind of saw this happening

Why did you not prepare for the hurricane?
Consider netting the bottom 2ft of your fence to keep the invasive fish in.
Was about to write this when I saw your comment! 😁

The fish are going to escape and become another invasive species.
@Banded sharky look at what happened with Burmese pythons and armored catfish. He released 3 adult Oscar’s into his pond.

nick bingos animals: panicking
ducks: wow this is the best beach we’ve ever seen
Yo bingo
dang nick u need to get u a pump and run it into that canal on the otherside of the fence
Surprise!!! Just because there is a strip of land between your pond and open canal system does not mean it won't overflow during storms. LOL
Glad u and urs are ok my guy love the content
I live in NC and geting 12 inches of rain right now
Can you do a vid where you feed your reptiles
Thanks so much for letting us know.
Great video, very interesting to watch, I watched a lot of the live storm chasers on UA-cam.
When you guys get an overflow in your pond I dunno why you just don't stake nets up and around them to keep your fish in even garden pea netting would do I reckon too late now and netting on your overflow pipes

Your backyard was a lake! It drained pretty quickly though! 😀

super funny when you were riding and screaming in rain 2:02
Have u heard from Paul cuffaro
“AAAAH. IM NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN!” “*so guys it is starting to rain*,”
