    Thanks Michele I recently have been not using my phone for the first 1-2 hours of the day and that’s helped so much! It makes it easier to naturally reduce screen time by limiting it in morning. My mom passed this year too, a little bit after your mom, in March. I remember when you took off from UA-cam that was my grieving time off from work too actually. What’s been helpful with coping with the grief for me has been making family and connections a priority and doing small meaningful things in honor of my mom. She was so good at remembering birthdays and loved giving gifts so I’ve been getting all of her nieces and nephews (my younger cousins) gifts and cards for their birthdays. Little things that I can do to honor my mom make me feel good. It’s still very hard to process and wrap my head around it. I’m so sorry for your loss Michele. I love your channel as you know and great video on mental health.

    So sorry for your loss. These are some great tips. I like the idea of getting more sleep, I’m going to try that. Something that helps me is getting outside and walking my neighborhood. The fresh air and all the trees and movement always makes me feel better. Glad you are feeling better! 💕

    So great to see your radiant smile, Michele! You continue to inspire and uplift our community with your honesty and bravery. Yes, we need to talk about mental health! Kudos for you for getting help. I'm a huge proponent of therapy (and participant), and I'm grateful to organizations such as Better Health, who have the goal of making counseling available to all. I feel that we are slowly relinquishing our worship of being busy and sleep deprived. These are not the hallmarks of happy and healthy human beings, these are the makings of disaster! I LOVE that you are working on getting 9-10 hours of sleep. A good night's rest is a win-win for everyone; more time awake does not equal more quality of life! This is one area I want to continue to improve in my own life, allowing myself to sleep. (Ah, the guilt...) We are in this together, friend. Please keep sharing and inspiring! 💕

    I know what it means to have anxiety! At the of 46 I lost my optic nerve! All I have is my prefer! It’s a struggle going out in public or restaurants! Can’t read menus! I’m struggling everyday! I’m so sorry for your loss of your mom!

    Sorry to hear about the loss of Michele's mum and her mental health issues. Glad you got help to cope with life's struggles. Another awesome video and great tips. I switch my phone off after 9:00pm and won't accept phone calls before 8:00am (unless it was an emergency).

    My way of keeping myself from slipping down the slippery slope is to live an intentional life of gratitude. I work at it and it works for me. As for my health issues (mostly pain 24/7) I tell myself that there are far worse things I could have. Thanks for your thoughtful advice too. 🥰😁🙏

    Resume ! I turned 55 in June! And just starting to do plant based! I did keto years ago! Not a healthy diet!

    I had 2 A/fib and have 29.% clogged arteries! I believe it’s from doing keto! I want to get healthy look!
