Can a creditor keep updating / adding remarks on your credit report after you have been discharged?

After a BK, they should list the account as having no balance and not active. Remarks aren't figured into a person's credit score and mostly ignored by creditors. I wouldn't worry about it.

@@justinmirche I actually lost 8 points. The creditor updated my status 2 more times after discharge and my score dropped each time.

It's likely the remarks didn't cause the score decrease. It could have been another part of the account that was adjusted or something else changed on your credit simultaneously causing the decrease. Comments on credit reports aren't scored.
