I've been riding at Sherwood pines twice now. It's actually a really nice big place to ride especially in the summer. I didn't actually finish a full trail I just rode around, taking random tracks ending up nowhere in particular. Although doesn't help when I took a wrong turn riding back to newstead Abbey and ended up in Southwell adding an extra 18miles to the clock. Fun day
yes for sure one of the good things about 'Pines is there is lots of off piste trails interconnecting between the proper routes.... you can find a fair amount. I once did similar to you and ended up on a track with husky dogs pulling sleds!
Great video as usual, falling off is part of the fun on forest trails, 4 years ago I came off in Thetford forest, damaged my ulnar nerve, ended up needing a operation on it,
Well done Paul Great ride and video with the legend Roy with his wise words. Do what you want to do and not what is deemed as the normal by the masses. Enjoy your weekend Paul and Roy
Oh dear Roy 🙈 don’t let Paul lead you on 🤦🏽♀️ great vlog you two. Might take the MTB’s back soon. Gain some confidence on the blue route as the red is challenging in places plus it’s been a while since we’ve ridden them.
Nice one Paul & Roy. Used to be my old stomping ground as a MTB guide. Had a couple of clavicle snaps (guests) and a difficult place to get an ambulance or identify exactly where you are, so glad your fall wasn't too bad. Hope to join you both sometime soon on a ride. K
Great weather great ride enjoy. On the hate thing guy told me I can't ride a bike like that on this paved path road bike that is. People are getting nuts.

Excellent fun, I took one look at the Death Valley Red and thought naaah not on this bike.
Yay go Roy!!! 💪🏻 Looks great, I haven’t been there yet. I think September when the kids are back 😁

Wow great ride, poor Roy hope he wasn’t too battered.

Nice Coronation Street reference there Paul 'Roy' 'Cropper'. Moving on, I hope that Roy is OK?
Ha ha....... See what I did..... Roys all good! 😊

What did you do to lovely Roy? 😂 glad to see he was ok. Famous last words exactly!
He didn't take much encouragement to be honest!
Half a league, half a league,
Half a league onward,
All in the valley of Death
Yes, and we know what happened there, Michael 😀
@@RideWithRoy my grandad used to read that poem to me, and tell me the story of the battle
They weren't naturists, they were doggers!,
They didn't have dogs with them 🙂
Bravo 👏👏 (rather you than me 🫣) Well done 👍
