I absolutely loved listening to these ladies talk about George in such a heartwarming way. He was such an ICON and I still miss him to this day but play his music to remember him. George seemed really loyal to his friends/workmates. Deon Estus played the bass for Wham! and for George's solo projects. He helped Deon try to launch his own vocal career as well. If you aren't familiar, search for Deon Estus - Heaven Help Me. George even sings backing for it.

We dearly miss this iconic Legend.. Well done band. As long as we remember George he will always be live in our heart❤Woa! we had a great time at Shepards Bush Empire last night. Memories were restored. Hopefully love to see you all back on soon/next year.. This is not our last Christmas.. Thank you BBC for their exposure on Breakfast TV.. They would be fantastic working with rob lamberti. We saw him singing George's songs. He was truly amazing and GM saxophone player was in robs band that night it was truly amazing. Look him up.
Well the fact that he paid his band and crew for a tour that he had to cancel says it all. If I could put my arms around another man of whom I only know of and say I love you thank you it would be George.

@@ufuktuncoz2239 It's Shirley Lewis here not Shirlie Holliman/Kemp who was part of Pepsi and Shirlie - Wham!'s backing singers and dancers. Shirley Lewis was part of George's solo backing singers.
@@johna378They didn't lip sync during the gigs and are actually decent singers, especially Pepsi. They did actually gain fame in their own right with some hits after Wham! They also did the dance routines with George and Andrew. Shirlie was with Wham! from the very beginning, with Pepsi replacing DC Lee, who is also a great singer. So 'dancing dollies' is quite harsh especially considering Shirlie was George's best friend and was asked to join Wham! by him and Andrew. George did the backing vocals on the Wham! albums himself because he was streets ahead of everyone else and wanted a specific sound.
