- Taco 007e-f4 is a high-efficiency wet rotor circulator with an ECM permanent magnet motor distributed by Torrco. The 007e is everything you love about the original Taco 007. It is ideal for hydronic systems zoned with circulators or zone valves. The 007e delivers the performance equivalent of the 007 plus the reliability and easy installation that made the 007 famous. Install it, forget it. The Taco 007e ECM High-Efficiency Circulator:
• ECM performance equivalent to the legendary 007 circulator
• High-efficiency ECM motor uses up to 85% less electricity
• Ideal for hydronic systems zoned with circulators or zone valves
• BIO Barrier® protects pump from system contaminants
• SureStart automatically frees locked rotor condition and self-purges air from pump.
• Integral Flow Check (IFC®) included Pumps & Circulators
• Dual electrical knockouts, 6” stranded wire leads included for easy wiring.
• Use with a Taco ZVC Zone Valve Control or SR Switching Relay for ON/OFF operation.
• 10’ Shut-off head, 16 gpm max flow.
• Optional 2-way flange model reduces SKU’s and provides universal fit-up to any flange position.
• Double insulated. No ground wire required.
• Whisper quiet operation. Across a series loop system using zone valves For zoning with circulators
Typical Applications
The 007e™ is ideal for hydronic baseboard systems.
Optional 2-way flange

Thanks! The flashing light codes helped me solve my problems with air in the system. Ingenious little pump.
Passion...The apple sure doesn't fall far from the tree, Jim. Nice job!
People, if you want warm water coming out fast at the faucet, simply make the loop without installing the pump. Pump is not necessary at all. Once the full loop is made in the warm water line, warm water will circulate through the warm water pipe by convection effect where hot water expands in the heater and forces the water to move through the loop to colder region and back into the heater and continue the cycle. I had a water pump installed but failed and I took it out and bypassed it and I still get nice hot water very quickly better than ever before with no headache to deal with failing pump or timer. Pump and timer are expensive and difficult to maintain and absolutely not needed in most residential use. If you do not believe me, try first before you take the trouble of installing one.
nice educational video .....nice that left to right dimensions is the same for all 007 , makes for easy replacement ...however for new installations one needs the two flanges !!!! ...question: with these new motors your video did not show if the internal cartridge can be replaced like the original 007 ??...can it ?
We have a hydronic system with 2 zones valves, and a open loop to our garage ceiling mount, thermostatically controlled fan unit. On the paper work for the 007E it states not recommended for open loop systems. I have both the older style 007 and the 007E in hand. Its -10 outside and the old pump is rumbling. Should I not use the 007E in this system?
This thing sounds amazing, very promising, extremely efficient ect. I just ordered one off amazon for my home.
How is it working?

Jimbo definitely got smacked in the nose at a Pats game
Nice job Jim.
It's a great design, it's going to save me 45 cents per year in electricity and the magnet will never get fouled with black iron pipe sediment!
Having multiple holes to fill can be a chore.
I'd like to know if that pump can be install on any position, thank you in advance!
I have this 007e installed at my system for Secondary pump in Ultra 155 We Mclain and I hear gun shot sound when Zone valve closes. As you explained, it has variable speed and it will adjust pressure as zone closes. If that is the case, what I am hearing loud noise when zone closes ?. Please let me know. This is very big issue in my system since I keep hearing loud noise every 1/2 hour when any ZONE Valve(Honeywell) closes out of my total 14 zones.
Remove the IFC.
Do I need Flow Check in Baseboard Heating system when this 007e used ?. It is causing Water hammer when Honeywell Zone valve is closed and I am wondering if 007e Flow Check is causing this issue ?
If your system has flow checks or zone valves, don't utilize the supplied IFC.
Had 2 installed in my house, one for each zone. But, when one calls for heat water is passing by the other one heating up both zones. How can I fix this?
Did you put the check valves in the pump?
Do you have pump relays or zone valves? If zone valves I would say there's buildup on them and they are not closingif you do not have zone valves and you have pump relays I would say putting some check valves so you stop the flow
Can something be done losing that dam little screw..???
You obviously didn't watch, well listen to the entire video. Listen again
Why nothing on the head pressure or gallons per minuteall you guys talk about are the features you updated nothing about how much water it moves or how high WTF
its crap didnt last me 2 years sucks
