Excellent video. About three years ago, i decided to ditch hardware recording and get into DAW recording. Once i got passed the steep learning curve, my life changed forever. I still have a few pieces of hardware, but now i work in the box (CUBASE 12). My musical life has never been better. As much as i love a good hardware synth for replicating real world instruments (bread n butter) , a VST can go much farther than a hardware synth patch.
What is a VST? Why not answer the question rather than give a history lesson? Where do you get a VST plugin? How do I add a VST plugin to my computer which is a Mac in my case. How do app add the plugin for a DAW to use it? More detail would ge nice such as, Here is where you can download or acquire a VST plugin, and this is how you add it to your Mac, and this is how you can add them in GarageBand, or in my case Screenflow. Thanks.
Just think that synth snobs think their Jupiter 8 and Moog is more advanced than the PC or MAC. I call that delusional. Also anyone other than Capitol Records that spend $20,000 on studio monitors is a freaking re re too. Love ya Sweetwater you treat me like a king.

So basically everyone calls everything VST, effects are vst , instuments are vst , midi processors are vst 🙄
