bro, this decision of the judges shows that arbitrariness can happen in battles. Judges can do whatever they want, and do not bear responsibility for their mistakes, continuing to referee battles. in football, a referee is removed from his job for an erroneous decision, but in beatboxing, everything is forgiven to the referees. i mean, there was musicality, there was some placement beats over fast beats, his second roud was totally new, just his style. although i agree zvd could have won, alem was definitely deserving also
ZVD won this. He had the pitch in tact, new sounds, a much bigger variety of sounds, cleanliness in all of his sounds and he has his own original style which is quite rare in the scene how it is right now. Alem, as a master of technicality and crowd pleasing, here he did nothing new. The variety of his sounds was very small and of basic level, whilst ZVD's sounds are much more complex and difficult to make. The judges seemed to undeniably choose the crowd pleasing and "battle" behaviour of Alem over ZVD's pros, but the level of his characheristics in these 2 rounds were undeniably much more important and worthy than Alems'. This analysis comes from 14 years of beatboxing knowledge and from a former beatboxer as myself (former Greek Vice Champ). Congrats ZVD! Keep up with the new styles and sounds! And remember, pitch is the most important thing if you want to move the beatbox scene steps further..!

5:09(5:25) 6:08(6:29) Sick
Big up to both. Much love from Japan
Feels like theres too much bias for old school stuff, It just feels outdated and not even good to listen to when spamming tkKs
zvd win, cool battle
This is actually absurd. First round of ZVD's was the craziest thing that I've heard in a really long time! And Alem sang let it go... and won?!?
the audience and judges seems stongly biased towards alem
I saw every zvd's battles ,
he destroyed everyone , but lost everytime......
What are the judges doing???
ZVD WON THIS.
Dude they just picked Alem because of reputation not because of the battle, ZVD definitely won…
ZVD's 1st round was so clean 🔥🔥🔥 finna put that on repeat prolly a hundred times rq lol, really close battle, personally got zvd winning though
Talk about favouritism 🤣🤣, need new judges so bad. Awful awful judges here
Sooo clean rounds!💪👏
Biggest robbery ever
we need round 3
ZVD shoulda won this for sure good job on alem but ZVD just was more creative with his stuff and a lot more interested compared to the TkK spam of alem
i wonder how this sounded live, cuz I find it crazy that only pepouni voted for ZVD, must be some Alem stage power I don’t know about since I’ve never been to a battle irl LMAO
I think ZVD won by a clear margin. This judging reminds me of GBB-23 in many ways
Hella biased... I love Alem don't get me wrong but this battle was obviously ZVD's. I noticed the same thing in the first round of Osis vs. Bookie, and in the finals of GBB 24 Napom vs. River.. A lot of favoritism going towards the French for some reason (don't get me wrong they are stupidly good) but a lot of these rounds should've easily gone to the competitor and yet it goes to whoever is French... Favoritism is very apparent and has been for France over the past year. Very disappointing.
I like Alem but for me ZVD Win
Alem is a legend but he is stucked in oldschool technic battle style
Sick Battle 🔥🔥
the judgin seems more like " pick your friend/fav" not the best at the time
どっちが勝利してもおかしくない、いいバトルでした!
Guys, please make sure that you were at the event before making any judging comments.
Don’t forget that the audio is mixed, you just have no idea about how it sounded live and for me it was pretty clear.
Thank you.
Clearly ZVD winner😢
DUDE ZVD WON 🥇 THIS small final was the real final in this championship
+ 1 MENTAL ZVD
Alem has respect from the world of beatboxing because of this he won😂😂
