Hi guys! As you all know I love going vintage and thrift shopping. As promised, here is a vlog where my sister and I go hunting for treasures! I can't believe I found the bag I did and I love it... it's around 50-60 years old and in perfect condition. Although I love luxury, I really love mixing designer with vintage and thrift store finds. I hope you enjoy the vlog and try on! xx Mel
P.S This was filmed prior to our easing of mask restrictions. Currently in Melbourne, we are no longer required to wear masks in public (only in the airport & public transport). That is why in my LV vlog a few weeks ago no one was wearing masks as we have had zero cases local cases for the past 45 days.

Hi my loves! A very different type of shopping vlog today but you guys requested I also vlog when I go vintage or thrift shopping! Although I love designer shopping, I absolutely love hunting for bargains as well! I often mix old and new together and you can find some really unique pieces! REAL ... I’ve seen older designer bags with that white tag (can’t remember which brand) and the hallmark/printing on the tag itself looks clear and legit. Love how you styled that green top, the CD belt definitely elevates it.
This vlog was so cool! It really shows how grounded you are that despite having a closet full of Hermes, Chanel, LV etc you don't have your nose turned up on thrifitng or non-branded items good for you!

You don’t have to buy the entire store to educate us on what is out there etc... you can purchase one item you really like or more but it’s great fun so see lifestyle out there be it clothes shoes home decor etc

This is the first video of yours that I actually enjoyed watching if I may say so. Thrifting and “hunting” for pieces is the joy I get out of shopping. I buy designer bags too but I never see moderate brands which are more affordable like $500 or less marketed on fashion channels. Bargain hunting is fun too.

Love the vintage lizard handbag! I'd like to know if it has a label inside or some kind of marking/identification. I bought mine 35 years ago in Buenos Aires and I still wear it and love it. The Ferragamo bag needs to be researched for authenticity in my opinion, but looks good. Great video Mel, thanks for taking us thrift shopping with you!

I was just watching a video where the blogger was commenting that the quality of actual Chanel bags was going down, despite a price increase. Some fakes are beginning to look better than real bags these days. I think the Ferragamo bag looks great.
Yes it's really scary, there are some super super fakes out. Yes unfortunately I have been hearing that comment a lot hence why i haven't bought Chanel bags the past couple of years, I'd rather go pre-loved.

Yeah apart from that one composition tag, the rest looked pretty good to me too! My sister was almost going to get it...it's ok next time :)
Agree that the GOAT tag is quite out of place.....and.... the stitching of the serial number tag is a tiny-weeny-not-too-straight at the end (I might be too OCD :-)) well it could be because it is a vintage piece..but if it’s genuine leather and after some leather cleaning, it would still be a decent buy for $50 :) and it’s pre-loved!
