Hey, you should go checkout Grinderman too! Its a Nick Cave side project from a few years back, but two albums that are crawling with this kind of sound down beautifully, and mind bumbling good like this. . ✨
I discovered them when they were supporting Melt-Banana at Islington Mill in Salford, UK. They were better than Melt-Banana who were headlining. Next time I saw The Ex - 3am main stage at ATP Minehead, Butlins. Old school punkers jumping around with mohawks. One of the best gigs I've ever been to. Incredible band.
killer set with ken vandermark at sugar maple in milwaukee a few nights ago. took my 73 year old dad to the show and he loved it. i saw them in san francisco like 20+ years ago. consistent excellence.
