It's been 10 years since I first saw this video and I still can't hear or read the word Hereford without thinking "Hereford Hereford Hereford. Jeremy Cook, BBC News, Hereford."
"They say you should have 300 units every 45 minutes and stop off for a beer on the way home. That's already a guideline in Scotland." Fucking love it!
Whenever I see George Alagiah presenting the news all I can think of is this video. Edit: first thing I thought of when he died, may he report on salacious gossip in heaven
Im sure that's what they want to be but the individuals who work for them aren't 100% impartial. Media is media they have to bend stories to make them interesting. The BBC release Puerto much the same stories as everyone else.
DFandV Well, I mean the first letter of BBC does stand for "British" so they'd obviously not want a large part of Britain to be lost in favour of independence as it'd sort of remove about 25% of the Britain from the name.
I came here because even now, 11 years later, whenever someone says a UK town name beginning with H, I think of "Hereford. Hereford. Hereford. Jeremy Cook; BBC News, Hereford."
Why Why Why Why Why, Why Why Why Why Why, Has it taken me sooo long to tap UA-cam up for the wonderful Cassette Boy! Clearly because I am rubbish, as He is BRILLIANT! Tears are Literally running down my face.....
I saw a news item about Cassette Boy on the BBC News. It made me look his stuff up, and I'm so glad I did. Couldn't stop laughing! His humour is insanely brilliant. Excellent use of UA-cam.
this is practically a ytp, along with your other work. Please continue making funny stuff like this, it's brilliant! "Hereford, Hereford, Hereford" a bust my sides.
I remember seeing this a few months back... Pissed myself jus tas hard just now as I did back then. Sometimes the edits are just too perfect... Nice one CB
Rest in peace George Alagiah. This edit on works because of how good and consistant he was as a presenter
He was a wonderful presenter. Miss those days.
300 units every 45minutes. Good ol' Scotland
According to one commenter from a while back, "that's barely a night out in Scotland". XD
Don't forget to stop by the pub and grab one on the way home now!
@@thedirtyfivethirty3844 yeah Boris would like that.
Up there that's just starter or apperitif.
It would be competition between Scotland & England.
It's been 10 years since I first saw this video and I still can't hear or read the word Hereford without thinking "Hereford Hereford Hereford. Jeremy Cook, BBC News, Hereford."
Currently in Hereford and had to come and watch this video
I thought I was the only one
Same. My friend just told me his wife is going to Hereford for a business trip and that's why I'm back here. 😂
Lmao I’m going to Hereford this week and I cannot think about anything but this
Bro same
RIP George Alagiah, hope you're having 300 units every 45 minutes up there.
"They say you should have 300 units every 45 minutes and stop off for a beer on the way home. That's already a guideline in Scotland." Fucking love it!
EL SHIRES MAN 738 I thought that was the guide line for ireland
I would of that'd be in Scottish Constitution.
EL SHIRES MAN 738 My, I certainly didn't know it was a good experience, being slaughtered!
Just reading this is making me laugh.
I know and I'm Scottish, it was absolute fucking genius and hilarious.
if one man can be edited and still sound THAT consistant, he is an awesome news reader.
RIP George. Glad to see so many people thought of this vid
10 years have passed and the news is still the same 🤣
300 units every 45 minutes!! I lost my shit!

The Frazzle I nearly physically wet myself when I heard that bloody Scotland looooool being an alchy ;-(
+The Frazzle Thats why the scots voted SNP cause they were pissed.
Whenever I see George Alagiah presenting the news all I can think of is this video.
Edit: first thing I thought of when he died, may he report on salacious gossip in heaven
Great that hes finally back
The amount of times the media report stories out of context, it's good to see that someone has got their own back.
Eh, BBC is impartial bro.
Im sure that's what they want to be but the individuals who work for them aren't 100% impartial. Media is media they have to bend stories to make them interesting. The BBC release Puerto much the same stories as everyone else.
pipnina
On the Israel/Palestine conflict, BBC sides with Israel on Scottish Independence BBC are with the NO side. very impartial indeed.
DFandV Well, I mean the first letter of BBC does stand for "British" so they'd obviously not want a large part of Britain to be lost in favour of independence as it'd sort of remove about 25% of the Britain from the name.
pipnina You've obviously not looked in to it enough to realise the BBC are anything but impartial.
HEREFORD HEREFORD HEREFORD
hmm... maybe

With my eyes closed, it sounds real!
Remember seeing this video a decade ago. RIP to the Tamil legend
"The court in Paris says it's up to Scotland to decide!"
As a Glaswegian, I whole heartedly laugh out loud.
The fact that he said women remain confused and worried with that picture of Miliband in the background was just perfect!
Cassetteboy for PM!
I don't think 300 is enough. It should have been taken to Ireland to decide.
+Cazza Cornetto Add a Russian too?

as a Scot the 300 units was hilarious
And don't forget to stop off for a beer on the way home!
I think Huw Edwards saw the first few seconds of this edit, and thought it was real....
“When it comes to alcohol how much is too much? A court in Paris has said it’s up to Scotland to decide.”
Nothing good can come of this.
Rest in peace George.
All these years and this is still a classic.
This is even more accurate than the real news.

This is the funniest thing you have done yet. It has even surpassed the Attenborough one as my favourite. Absolute, unadulterated genius.
'Ok hello' was more than enough to entertain me repeatedly
I just love it when things fall perfectly into place

I haven't laughed so much in ages. Bloody brilliant, as Lord Sugar might not have said. 😉
The fact they deliver news in the same deadpan tone makes it look really effective in a mash-up
