Love the carbmaster yogurt. 170g for 70 calories is actually a fairly large portion. If I’m cutting the time too close for breakfast before my workout, 170g of the yogurt with 1/2 scoop of whey protein is a nice, easily digested pre-workout meal. It’s also pretty low carb for when I’m trying to reduce that.

Egg yolks are usually yellow. They add carotinoids to the feed of the hens to make the yolks more orange because that's what customers like. It doesn't say much about the quality. Fun fact: I am german, and we call the egg yolk "Ei-gelb", which means "egg yellow". So yeah, traditionally egg yolks are yellow.

To find the best avocado, with regards to ripeness, is to gently squeeze both ends of the avocado 🥑 with one hand and look for overall hand feel. Once you feel the softness your looking for, it’s ready to be eaten. It’s a personal choice based on your own choosing experiences.

the yolk is orange because they put dye and beta carotine in the chickens feed. a good yolk should be yellow. true pasture raised chickens lay eggs with normal yellow yolk.
LOL completely wrong. The yolk is from their diet and a richer orange yolk generally means the chicken is eating better. Come on dude, all it takes is a little research in Google. Orange is a better yolk and has a richer flavor.
@@wombat5252 are you dense ? thats exactly what i said, the farmers feed them specific food to make the egg appear darker/orange. I get my eggs from a farmer who lives down the street, the most purest and natural eggs you can find, they ltierally run around outside all day eating worms etc. and the yolk is yellow and not orange. why ? because he doesn't feed them carotenoids or marigold flower(which is the cause for the orange/dark color)

@@wombat5252 i promise you, its because of carotenoids that are added to the feed :) I'm sorry to give you bad news but just because your yolk is orange doesn't mean you are necessarily eating a higher quality egg "pasture raised" and "organic" however means you are eating a higher quality egg, and if the yolk is dark so be it. but don't be fooled by them. a pasture raised high quality yolk can very well be just yellow ;)

Nothing wrong with 7% fat turkey(just cut something else off the menu and you'll be fine), or here in UK it's called 93% turkey. Pretty hard to find really clean meat in the supermarkets here, but over the pond they have all those meats which I'm pretty sure they're not that "clean" as they claim to be. You just gotta adapt with what you have at your disposal and where you live, plus don't break the bank account and shop overly expensive stuff just because someone online said it's the best. Done that before and didn't make any difference. Is down to how your body and stomach reacts to different types of food, that's all.

I have to say....we grow actual cucumbers in our backyard, no additives, no chemicals, no bullshit, full organic. They are half of those "small" cucumbers on the shelf and about 1/4 of the cucumbers she picked out. Makes you wonder what the fuck you are eating most of the days.

I love how the huge guys will shop for a few days and only grab one or two packs of meat, some carbs and a few apples, but she stocks up on whole stacks of meat and rice.

The yolks are really dark because they feed them marigold seeds..
Pop the stems on the avocados. If they’re dark green underneath, they’re not ripe yet. Light green is ripe, brown is bad.
