Fiore isn't just evil, she's also extremely smart and tactical, so if she weren't evil there's no reason why she wouldn't still be intelligent and use her intelligence for good instead of evil. I would expect her to be just as tactical as in the original but with an added sense of morality.
Hmmm definitely an interesting perspective, I always saw her evil side being apart of her strategic (aka her becoming evil, and the neglect from her parents, and that causing her to become strategic/smart. In this universe her parents wouldn’t neglect her so she’d just be innocent and sweet/moreso just the act she put on originally)
I do definitely see this perspective, maybe I should’ve done that instead for Fiore?? :)

I sort of agree with her not being evil, but she kind of burnt Ashley, Lill and Nicks stuff…..
@AnarCat I agree I think if Fiore wasn’t evil she still be smart and tactical an just not do anything evil in this version I image her strategy would mainly be to just fly under the radar and try to stay on everyone’s good side plus in ep 4 if Ellie did burn the cloths I feel like Fiore would have sided with Ashley and Will scene she knows Lill would have had no reason to burn the cloths and nothing to gain from it plus I feel like she might have even figure out it was Ellie scene Ellie would have been the only one on the team to have a reason burn the cloths
My Theory is: Fiore was never evil she has Anger Issues, It was her Parents fault for being Neglectful
Alternative Theory: Fiore is evil and it's a result of how her parents neglected and mistreated her.
I imagine Fiore also felt isolated around her peers due to her intelligence.

Here's my finale:
3rd: Ellie (Miriam pulls off the fake heart attack like canon)
2nd: Tom (Wasn't fast enough for Miriam's go-cart)
1st: Miriam (just like canon)
Now I want to see "What if Fiore wasn't evil, but still maintained her intelligence and personality/identity?.

HELP I JUST REALIZED THAT THE TWO NEW CONTESTANTS WERE THE FIRST TWO BOOTS- (the two that weren't in the beta)
It's sad that out of the few (two) child contestants in the TD/DC universe, one of them is portrayed as plain evil (yet not in the same league as Mal and Scarlet), and a small girl no less.
Oh and apparently, slapstick violence knows no age group. And with everyone else's callousness (a million dollars must override any human decency, unless you're Connor).
At least Fiore could get along with MK and be Chaotic Neutral together (instead of Season 2!MK and her damning friendship with Julia).
Do what if: alec voted fiore over ellie in that team swap episode
Here's my take,
Episode 7, Fiore slanders Alec and Ellie a bit but she might have to ease it up a bit less she wants Gabby to be suspicious of her. I doubt she'd be into Jake's sob stories so Jake might not apologize to Tom after a while
In the challenge, the only difference would be Ellie being placed on the wheel for the Purple team. Alec might try talking to Fiore but she'd be too salty to even care. Since breaking Dan's glasses was a factor as to why they lost their lead in the challenge, this time, the Teal team pretty much wins.
At elimination, Grett is to go and sadly for her, she doesn't get that self motivating pep talk.

Episode 8, merge happens. Gabby and Ellie form an alliance. Alec would try to convince Fiore to side with them again. Fiore would join but would probably backstab them if given the opportunity.
Meriam would push Jake to try and talk things out with Tom but without the whole "Did you think about how he'd feel" bit, it might end more sourly.
In the challenge, the old members of the Teal team would try to go after Ellie, Gabby, and Alec. It'd be difficult to tell who'd choose who so I'll just assume it'd end sort of similarly to the original but with Fiore taking immunity.
At elimination, Fiore could listen in on who'd Meriam, Dan, Tom, and Jake would vote for. While she could've just lied to them, I like to think Fiore is strategic enough to have Gabby use the totem to protect that person so they'd be guaranteed to have enough votes to send off Tom who was their biggest threat. Fiore's secret would be out anyways since no one knew about the leaked footage of their votes.

Episode 9, if they do have that morning heart to heart talk, I doubt Fiore would say anything about Ellie since she'd be using the money to solve financial problems rather than personal ones. She's definitely going to rip the band-aid and tell Alec to tell him that money ain't going to fix his marriage tho. Gabby would probably just use the money for environmental stuff or share some of it with Ellie.
In terms of challenges, I have no clue how to go about this but I'll try.
Alec tells his alliance about the VR simulation since he has no reason to hide the information. With that, it would probably easier. I mean it's the four of them against Dan, Jake, and Miriam. All they have to do is choose one person to survive the zombie apocalypse and that's that
At elimination, it's a 4 v 3. Either Dan, Miriam, or Jake could be going. Most logically, Jake since he's probably better in athletic challenges than Miriam who's an old lady, and Dan who looks really scrawny.

Episode 10, they'd go about their usual day except Dan and Meriam would be worried on which one of them would be out next
In the challenge, Dan could've found the note and would've gone for the immunity totem. I doubt his actions would go unnoticed but it'd be tricky to tell what he was doing. You could come up with the conclusion that he'd only stop from doing a challenge if it was something more important than immunity.
At elimination, it'd be a bit tricky. Say Alec and Fiore speculated on Dan having an immunity totem. If they vote for someone who was protected and all their votes got nullified, then one of them is definitely out. If they try splitting the votes, 2 for Meriam and 2 for Dan, then it's guaranteed that one of them is facing off against either Dan or Meriam for the spot in the final 5. However, knowing Fiore, she could come up with a plan where they'd pretend to have some sort of discussion on who to vote while Dan was nearby to trick him into using the immunity totem on the wrong person. However, there's one possible problem with this plan, Gabby is a terrible liar. Dan could pick up on this, and pretend to be fooled himself.
This could lead to Fiore being voted off this time.

Episode 11, things go by normally.
In the challenge, it's unpredictable on who gets what backpack. There's a high chance at least one of them has batteries and if they took the same path Ellie took in the original, they'd get there first.
At elimination, they'd vote out Dan since it'd be easier to beat an old lady.

In episode 12, they'd all get their letters like usual. I don't know whether Gabby's parents even bothered to write or they were just too busy.
In the challenge, it's once again difficult to determine the team since it's randomized. So here's all the possibilities
Alec & Miriam vs. Gabby & Ellie?
Gabby and Ellie have a higher chance of winning.
Gabby & Miriam vs. Alec & Ellie?
Gabby would just throw the matches since she'd be confident in Ellie and Alec bringing her with them
Ellie & Miriam vs. Alec & Gabby?
A bit tricky. Ellie's no stranger to betraying others. There's a chance Miriam might convince her to take her to the finale over Alec.
After all they've been through, it's very likely for Ellie not to backstab Alec (I wouldn't even be sure how she'd go about it). So Miriam's out.

Ellie and Gabby would work together to try and eliminate Alec in the first challenge. For the second, it'd be neck and neck. If I had to pick, I'd probably say Gabby might be a faster digger.

Can you make what if: Dan, Ellie and Gabby were in an alliance? Dan and Gabby got own friendship moments, then it looks fun (?) know if their friendship turned more strong forming an alliance (I nominated Ellie because in the episode of Dan's elimiation everything was perfect for them about making their alliance, and Dan was orbbed, and it can be one way for making he a less NPC character)

Idea: What if Miriam chose Jake instead of Tom..?
This is completly Ellie biased, Ellie really didn’t realized how endangered she was until she got kicked out and swapped teams. So if we are being completly realistic here, Ellie should have been kicked along with Nick in episode 5. Also, Fiore is evil AND smart, so even if we take her evil part out, she would still be smart enough to stick with Will and Ashley anyways. Why are Ellie fans so biased 😭😭😭
Also Ellie would definetly not win the medal challenge, even with Gabby’s help, she dropped 3 medals that episode (or 2 I dont remember), she would be have been voted there too. This is just way too Ellie biased…

- For Fiore, I removed her smarts as I felt her smarts came with the fact she adapted to her home life situation. This goes for the entire What If (by memory) however, some others also critiqued me on this so I may redo this what if with her still having her smarts!

Ellie and gabby are safe in episode 2 and I know who and how they will leave thanks to a friend but well
I want to tell you more but I feel like they hate might explode
Fiore is easily the best villain and I adore her so much cause she so cute and funny
I think fiore will be amazing and loveable and precious character evil or not she and ellie should have been final 2 and one of them should have won over Miriam
I sadly think fiore act this way cause of horrible parents cause their is no way a 6 year old is this evil on her own
