      Sorry - no - I was just trying to demonstrate multiple engine starts over two days after this fix to show the intermittent no starting issue had been cured. Previously the engine would start fine a few times then not.

      Intermittent problemi With starting...no crancks ... could be the solenoid for you?

      Could be a number of things: starter mechanism itself or the solenoid, wiring issue, maybe a fuse? For me it turned out to be the starter relay as shown here.

      No they are two different things. The solenoid is attached to the starter and pushes the starter gear up to the flywheel to spin it when it’s energized by turning the key. The starter relay is the little unit shown in this video that energizes the starter.
