- Citadel Miniatures: Plastic Chaos Warrior for Warhammer Fantasy Battle and Talisman 3e 1994 (painted example). Painted and based by myself in 2024 to provide an example of the miniature in case of interest to other painters and collectors. Painted using Citadel and Army Painter paints.
More miniatures will be added to the channel slowly over time.

Got one of these fellow-me-lads in a box of jumble, no base attachment so I've glued him onto a square HQ base I had.
I'll try and paint him up to be a Chaos boss of some kind.
You've set a high bar though, but I must remember that 'comparison is the thief of joy'!
Good inspiration though, thanks!
@@MarleneSB Thanks for the comment! The trick with the black chaos armour is to paint it dark first (I used Army Painter Gravelord Grey speedpaint) and then dry brush a light cover of metallic silver to create the highlights. These old Citadel plastic miniatures are good fun to paint 😁
@@StudioKerrow I have AP Gravelord Grey on my bench, I'll give it a try myself. It'd be nice to have my Chaos boss match my other warriors but I guess if it turns out anywhere as good as yours I can do a whole batch of the five others as I have spares. I have been struggling to make Chaos Warriors look interesting, being entirely covered in armour there's little detail to play with, so it's great to have inspiration. I might use a mix of talos bronze and brazen copper and try to get a rusted look on my highlights.
@@MarleneSB A basic light grey undercoat, Gravelord Grey and then any of those metallic highlights will look good. Then just some careful painting of the other details and will be great! Miniatures always look better with a decent base - even just paint brown then cover in PVA glue and stick on flock grass or stones. With mine I always have the sides of the base black (I think it looks neat and tidy)
@@StudioKerrow Oooh don't get me started on bases! 😵💫
Such a classic miniature, well done!
