21:21 me and Andrea are very clumsy people 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣ahh your killing me. Good belly laugh here thanks 😊
"sleeps 10..." Again, I never want to be in an RV with 10 others. Happy New Year, Matt, I love it that you are always "Super Excited" for every review - thank you. Likes: bunk beds that fold up, pass thru storage in rear, solar, pull out drawer storage under dinette seating (why can't Entegra do this?), plastic sliding door in shower (deal breaker). Dislikes: bunk beds, short awning, twisty locks on storage and storage doors just flop down (deal breaker), no exterior tv (deal breaker), one A.C., kitchen layout (deal breaker), stove next to couch, window above master bed (deal breaker) and no tv in master bedroom. sigh....too many deal breakers (I didn't even include them all).
12:14 that beautiful face telling Matt I’m not doing that 🤣🤣 it’s to humid and I already sprained my thumb breaking refrigerator lock 😁did I mention the beautiful face 🥰🌹❤️
Matt.......THE MAN!!!!!!!! skips everyday😁 OK...wait....Matt; showing the kitchen...This I gotta see. Matt you need to do more kitchens, but great review of the RV as usual.
I love the windows in the bedroom and see how the bed is fixed even when the slides are closed
Great video! And yay you used the usteps for the roof I love it
Great RV. I just bought the Forrest River Sunseeker 32 ft model.
We love this motor home. We recently traded in our 2014 Forester 3171DS. Almost the same layout except no Bunks but more cabinets. It had full body paint and very nice ungraded amenities. It served us well for 40,000 + miles and we truly never intended to trade in.
Our carrying capacity was only 1240, which, with all the outside and inside storage we found out the hard way what happens when you continually overload it. A hard lesson learned.
But it was very well made.
Three things we like:
The small tub worked very well for toddlers.
Extension to kitchen made it very usable.
And three: lots of storage
Three things we don’t like
No pantry. We had a smaller fridge that allowed for a pantry
No generator/ shore power switch. Plugging and unplugging is a pain.
And item #3- no outside TV. We had one in ours and really was nice for us.
Thank you again!
Happy New Year guys! I agree with the review. Not a bad MSRP!
I like the sleeping choices. Dont like a round sink. Prefer rectangle.
Happy New Years.......3 Thing we like, Decor, Compressor Fridge, Full Bathroom......3 Things we dislike, as we do not have Children we would want an RV that would accommodate 2 people....having said this there is not much to dislike on this build, only thing that is missing is Washer Dryer Combo.....the space is there.
There’s nothing saying that you HAVE to sleep 10 people. That also gives you more options when you are delegated to the dog house.
Have a HAPPY & SAFE NEW YEAR. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I was going to ask about lack of auto transfer switch! Good catch!
Thanks Matt and Andrea!
Another nice job. Thanks Matt and Andrea!
This is a great one! Would be perfect for my little family. Our biggest issue would be figuring out transportation once we’re at our site. Happy New Year!
Hey Matt, Continued success with your channel and we wish you and Andrea a happy new year
Happy new year to you, your family and your team.
👍👍Thank you! Thank you!👍👍💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤. The passenger seat not going back is a deal breaker for me. I have too many pains that don't allow me to sit up straight I wouldn't to be able to do that.
Happy new year guys all the way from perth western australia
If the wood doors, drawer fronts, etc are real wood, then that would be a number one like for me. I really like the color. I liked the countertop in the bathroom and the rear bedroom. I liked the piping on the furniture. These things really dress up what is usually rather a plain Jane. Dislikes are the engine noise, only one AC unit, and the fact that one could see right through the "privacy" curtains. Nice review, thank you.
Happy new year, nice review! Don't line that you can't lean back the passenger seat, hate the tv location. Like the shades and the soft close drawers.
Love this!!!! Real wardrobe, no water in the slide, great price, great storage for the way we travel…my only concern would be if my 6’5” son would have a comfortable place to sleep. Even the colors aren’t obnoxious on the outside or all dark & drab inside…love this wish I had the money today to buy it!
If you need to home office and/or work on the road, and don't need that small sofa, just take it off and replace it by a desk. Very nice and flexible.
I have a 2015 in this style and it has been great for camping with children. I love the upgrade to the larger refrigerator and the soft closed cabinets. The drink holders are an awesome idea! Can't tell you how many drinks have been spilled because there was nowhere to set them while the kids were playing in the bunks. It's a tight fit for adults to sleep on the couch or on the drop table, but we have packed 4 adults and 6 kids in comfortably. Would only buy this again if camping with kids though. Otherwise the bunks become storage. Thanks for the great review, excited to see forest river continuing to improve.
Happy New Year you guys. I just finished reading about the two of you in RV Today dec21/jan22 issue.of 50 RV content creators! Really enjoy the 3 things like/dislike. You keep it honest and fair. That’s why I keep coming back. You show the little things that can make or break a great RV experience! Until next time! Much love from Wisconsin!
This is a very nice RV! Very nice. The only thing I’d like to see when s a washer/dryer combo. Ya know the ones where it does the washing and drying together. Just something that you would use so you could get your socks, shorts. Underwear washed. Then I would say it would suit me just right. The price is not bad either.
We bought the 2020 version of this unit and we love it. We took the kids from NY to WA this year and had no problems. Definitely highly recommended for kids and getting on the road for not a ridiculous cost.
Weird they got rid of the bumper so no storage for the stinky slinky.
Can I ask, did you tow a car with it. Curious on how you get around once at a site. What type of car. Thanks
@@gualrichard We did not tow... we rented cars at locations where we wanted to sight see a bit more.
All they would have do it to flip flop the livingroom sofa and dinette. I can't see the driver needing to push the seat back - back but the passenger would be the one to need that.
Happy new year !
Keep the reviews coming !
Happy New Year 🎈🎊
See you both next year! Thank you for a great and wonderful year of watching your reviews Matt and Andrea! 👍👍
Happy New Year! Not sure how you will beat this year but anxious to see. Great class C. Good layout, great bunks, great bathroom. Dislike, the twisty locks, tv placement, the radio/camera system, lack of counter space. The wireless charger is in a bad spot, should be in the bedroom on the night stand (on each side). Great price point RV that can sleep a bunch of people and get you camping.
That’s a pretty sweet price for that many features. Would actually work to semi-full time in, even with the manual switchover. I like it!
Can you have full access to the fridge with the extra countertop up?
Matt you need to start tell mpg, especially with gas prices as high as they are.
Probably about 9 mpg
How do you suggest he determines the gas mileage ?
Love this coach. Hopefully I can find one to view in person close to where I live.
Happy New Year Andrea and Matt! This is a nice layout for families! I like the room, the storage, the soft close drawers, the shades!
I agree that it is a bummer that the passenger seat does not recline! I would rather lose the dinette seat and have the passenger seat swivel to the table. Also, if indeed it can accommodate 10 people, you would need a bigger sink in my humble opinion- Bathroom looks decent 👌
Many Blessings to you, family, and your team this coming New Year 🙏 ❤
Happy New Year, Matt and Andrea, looking forward to seeing your first review in 2022.
Thank you for the video. I like the Forrest River line... What I did not like about this RV is the way the power is distributed, The wet bay (WTH was that?), the bunks (I live alone), and the TV placements. I liked the "bathtub" feature for the children and the cab area if I have to have a 3rd like then the Hankook Dyna-Pro tires. Thank you again for the video! 🙂
Nice vertical Matt!!
Happy New Year Matt & Andrea!! And the rest of the awesome team. Loved this one for the family. Nice bathroom 🚽 glad it got your PPP 👍🏼
I love my u srep ladders. The fist time seen them in 1 of your videos. I got rid of my other ladders andbought 2 of these.
1)I like the couch withe flip down arm rest. 2 ) the versatile bunk beds. 3) the shower tub. I dislike 1) the passenger seat not reclining. 2) no transfer switch. But I do love this coach.
Happy New Year, all the best to the four of you guys.
💘💘 Happy New Year 🎆 🎇 ✨ 👍👍
While it is a basic RV it is actually not that bad. I have this same floor plan that I bought a year old as used 2 years ago. While I would rather have nicer storage doors, changing them out to the tumbler keys with better latches helped a lot. Installed a transfer switch, routed power and cable outside right in front of the large door and solved that issue. I also like it as it's very rare with a class c to have a wet bay. I used the one divided side to add better water filtration in mine. Also like that both the generator and propane tanks are in good spots.
As for floor plan, it works well. I ripped out the couch in the bunk area and installed cabinets and a pull out tray. Can put in cooler and lot of extra storage. The top bunk gave us the option to have large baskets up there or put in the mattress if we need anyone to use it. Shower with Nautilus shower curtain was too narrow but changed out to an Arcadia curved one and solved the problem without feeling like it takes over the bathroom. The remark about the cutter in the dinette is interesting because ours actually has that to recline the passenger seat back. The front couch on ours was uncomfortable so pulled it out, extended the deck for the slide out 4" and installed Siesmic theater seats.
As for the awning, we added a Carefree Pioneer manual awning to the side of the bunk slide. It can be ordered in custom sizes and solved the extra shade issue. In the end while the floorpan can work as is, it is also very easy to modify for how it works best for you. Definitely worth a consideration and this model is very popular for RV dealership rentals.
Likes...rear bunk area, dark shades and extended counter and price. Dislikes...needs a televator at dinette, the kids bunk area accordian door is to see thru and needs to be darker. Don't like the round sink. Needs the side storage doors and chrome locks. Matt went to see what kind of generator it was and the door was locked and the bottom was giving like crazy. Nothing like having your stuff stolen with those cheap twisty locks. The passenger seat up front look way to rigid for comfort. Needs the full molded front fiberglass shell to help with leakage. 10 sleeping in there would be a sardine can. Andrea that dress is so pretty. Matt yes we like to see you climb in the bunk areas for real life height and room. That is a huge plus to the videos. Thanks guys.
Really like this one Matt
Happy new year to you Andrea be safe and enjoy Nice 👍🏻 Motorhome
I have to tell you. I would spend another 10k or however more it costs to purchase a Entegra. You can tell where Forester cuts corners down to the cheap fridge and Trailer mouldings along the entire upper bunk over the cab. Keep up the good reviews I love your channel Matt! Now I know why you love Entegra so much!
They should make the step a ramp
Hi Matt abs Andrea! I like this class C. My dislikes are the sane as yours. I agree with power cord and all nit deal breaker my likes are the same too liking the fact that it sheets 10 people Thank you Matt and Andrea. I hope you both have a great and Happy New Year!
I'm very leary of the charging station right next to the sink, it just makes me nervous.
...but really, "flexable"?
Another good presentation
love it. can you take the couch out where the bunk is so you can put dog crates?
Happy New Year
Is the RV show in Tampa still on due to the covid problems
They could get a swivel seat in there by moving the entrance right behind the passenger door and moving the dinette back to the rear... like the odyssey 31f
I noticed that the fridge is really high on the wall. Being vertically challenged I would not be able to reach into the freezer.
You say about hot ,here in my country is 93.2 fahreinheat a 22:00 of nighth
Wait, was that only 30 Amp service for this?
I like the way the storage compartments covers flip down out of the way. Not going to bang your head. Yeah I know that the closures are not the best, but the flip down outweights that. In general, great storage and love the bathroom. The TV is in an awkward spot for the bunk it seems. Maybe just the angle. And as usual...that step is a hazard. WHY DO THEY DO THAT???? I actually found a lot more that I liked than disliked. Well done Forester.
FlexIble. 😘
bonne annee 2022 chez vous
Thank you❤️
Is there a winter package for this?
Dislikes: minimal amount of kitchen counter space, no overhead cab front window, and no cockpit “infotainment” system, and the bonus, no day shades! Extra bonus-barely any solar, what is that, 300 Watts on that monster?!? Likes: plenty of space, real bed surrounded by windows, plenty of storage space.
Hi, does this model come with mechanical ventilation above the cooktop? I just rented a forest river 3010DS, and it did not come with that ventilation. So every time we cooked anything that created some smoke, the RV filled with smoke and the smoke alarm went off. That one is a dealbreaker for me
flexIble
Matt could you do a class A 2million motor home please
Actually yes it will be coming out next week... A foretravel 1.4 million :)
Hi Matt, happy holidays and happy new year 2022, I am trying to reach you for a motorhome but not able to connect using your ph and or in text, please let me know any other best way to reach you.
Try the website.
I'm not crazy about the kitchen layout and I hate the TV placement, but wow, great price!
Hey matt andrea and family 🎈 💜 🦮🐕🦺thumbs up guys 👍 👍👍just to let you guys know I always look forward watching you're amazing videos 📹 🎥📽I can't wait to watch this one 🎋🎊🎈well that's it I will see you next time 🤘have a wonderful new year from your fam prescott ontario canada 🇨🇦 🇨🇦🎉🧨cheers 🍻 peace ✌ ps if you can't be good be careful 🤑😜😝🌷🎈
Does the bunk bed seat have seat belts? One stat that would be nice to have on the stat pop up would be the amount of seat belts
The floor plan showed 8 seatbelts, if you trust that.
I love the floorplan!
Flexible
I don't like the kitchen area at all. You didn't mention the twist locks on the exterior cabinets as a dislike.
But the motor home comes with an ATTACHED LADDER! 😉
Dude! The reason Forest Rivers have that step is because their tanks are internal. Few people realize what an awesome aspect that is and fully worth stepping up into the bedroom.
What are the benefits of internal tanks?
@@electromusic99 they are protected from the outside and less likely to freeze. If I remember correctly, forest River has heater ductwork going to these areas. You can see it in one of the storage compartments.
Thank you, I had no idea!
10:54 bonk!
Happy New Year! Thanks for showing a nice family sized Class C. Ok sleeps 10 means it's more of a small town sized Class C.
It's a nice RV for a decent family. However, I would have to give my dislikes. The first thing I noticed was, yes, not being able to recline the passenger seat. #2 would have to be the placement of the stove. Grease splashes and that little plexiglass is not high enough for splashes. Yes, you can cook outside but if there is inclement weather, it wouldn't work. #3 is the step. I'm a disabled vet with back problems. If I miss that step while stepping down, that will hurt a lot. Yes, I do like that RV. For my likes #1 I love the shower size and type. #2 the overhead bunk is a decent size. Very nice. #3 the master bedroom is very nice and the fact that it's not a fold up bed when the sides are in. #4 The MSRP is a great price but I know Matt will get it for me at a lower price lol
I really believe I would hate cooking in that itty bitty kitchen. For that alone, I’d have to pass on this one. I understand why since they crammed so many good things into such a tiny space, but it would drive me nuts.
Wow! There is NOTHING i dont like about this rv!!! It is perfect, just right!! I will be shopping for one real soon!! Oh, wait....there is one thing i am not happy about, no regular oven. I want a 3 burner range AND a regular oven.
Dislike: the only way the wireless charger location could be worse if it is was over the toilet instead of right next to the sink.
If buy that if the bunk area was storage for my elite not bunk beds and if I sold my house. Could easily live in it.
That was supposed to be e-bike, not elire.
A QI pad right beside the sink? lol. With a 1715lb cargo capacity it would have to be 10 slim people.
Happy new year!!
❤️ top bunk goes up
❤️ nice motorhome
😡 440 over caB bunk? Wah wah
😡 microwave to low
😡 I don’t like the sink I have a coffee mug that’s bigger
Learn how to write
👍
I don't mind it not having the auto transfer switch from the shore power to generator. The 2 times you really do need that is power outage during a storm or when you are away from the RV and you have pets that need AC
19:48 Matt’s buns of steel work out video paying off with big dividends. He now boasts he can crack walnuts between those cheeks of steel. You go Matt you he man you
They should have put the sofa where is the door is then they should put the door where is the sofa
I like the basic floorplan, but I do not like the cheap looking furniture, the over the bunk TV position, the camp queen mattress, the crappy cargo door latches and no frameless windows☹️
Matt not a DS. This is an LE, not as fancy
LIKE THE BUNK HOUSE SET UP THE MASTER QUEEN BED THE SOFT CLOSED DRAWERS DON’T LIKE THE TWISTY OUTSIDE DOORS THE STEP NO TV IN THE MASTER BEDROOM MATT AND ANDREA AND YOONA HAPPY NEW YEAR WILL AND JENN AND TUCKER HAPPY NEW YEAR
Stop YELLING! How are you even typing like that?
HNY eve still, lol
I agree with your likes and dislikes and Happy New Year!
Likes:
Rear bed is useable with the slides in, storage under the rear bed with a piano hinge, and the fiberglass roof.
Dislikes:
Twist locks on the basement storage doors, power cord plugging into the generator takes up valuable storage space, water connections should be behind a lockable cover, no tv directly across from the living room sofa (get rid of the dinette and put in a fireplace and televator, this also allows the passenger seat to recline), kitchen is too small for 10 people, and microwave should be above the counter.
Thumbs up for another great review, but a thumbs down for the product. We are still wading through the options that might be available to us when we are ready to become full-time RVers, but I don't understand who the target consumer is for the 3251DS. I can see how it can sleep 10 people, not sure about comfortable, but don't see how it can transport or support 10 people. The food storage and preparation areas, toilet and shower, and water storage areas are too small, in my opinion, to support more than four people without constant resupply trips.
While I like the size and some of the features, I would seriously consider gutting the interior and building out my own interior.
Matt u loterally said you turned a.c. on then said it wasnt. Ya ha 😂
