I admire the mindset of this young man. He not only thinks of providing raw materials, but also how to manufacture those raw materials. I wish all Jamaicans would catch this man's vision. Jamaica has so much potential. It's a shame to see it wasted with bullets and machetes. Look at the beautiful surroundings!

Regarding cooling: The height and design of the roof is fine as is; but I would recommend installing "roof ventilators" at about 25-feet apart and as close to the ridge as possible... This will create an air siphoning effect and keep the space cool. From a Florida Registered Architect.

He could just swap the ridge cap for a vented one so the hot air naturally vents instead of needing to repitch different sides of the roof ..
