Gemini deserves some praises the way he portrayed the role of a deaf person and the way he emoted his emotions with just sign language and with his eyes and acting 👏👏👏he was fabulous in this series

I swear if this was not simul-cast with My School President, I would have to google to find out if he was really hearing -impaired. I really really believed his portrayal.
And when you realize he said that he use to fail in his drama class makes me Wonder how, he did such an amazing job portraying Heart's character it's looked so real.
His naturalistic portrayal of a deaf character really amazes me. He's so young yet so talented. I sense a bright future ahead of him.
one thing i really love about mlc is that they’re portraying real life situations so so well. one night stands, recession, unwanted pregnancy and expenses of raising a child, being cheated on, falling out of love, not wanting to study, building a career when you’re not even aware what you want to do, deaf community and ignorance of parents/family towards them, teen love, parents being supportive of their kid sexuality, adults not knowing how to understand their kids, love between parents and kids, grief of losing someone whether its your lover or parents, running a business in this economy, forgiveness and forgetfulness, complexity of relationships, dealing with anxiety, insecurities, self doubts, trust issues and WHAT NOT. each and every character is delivering all these emotions so well !!! it shows pain and how scars are painfully beautiful as well, they may leave wounds but at the end of the day, isn’t this what life is ? so many emotions and none is constant. i really wanna thank p’aof, all the actors, writing team & all the people involved for such a realistic and comforting series

It's called being decent and wise and healing together, knowing everyone was a good person and suffered in their own way, it just wasn't meant to be. I'm not saying it happens all the time. But you can't say it doesn't happen just because you personally don't know any case :)

One of the most satisfying endings of all time, and not just because everyone has a happy ending, but because every single character has shown growth. Jim learned to let go of the past, Wen learned to appreciate his present, Li Ming and Heart learned to be honest about what they want in the future (once the adults in their lives earned that confidence), Leng learned responsibility, Gaipa and Alan learned to move on....this is so deeply satisfying, and incredibly impressive for such a short series. So, so good 💕
Absolutely!! The best part about watching this series is the growth of each character because we went on a journey with them. As this series ends, I can't help feeling proud of them. Haha..
When I read "happy ending" I had to think and realize that they all were happy. I definitely see them all as more at a happy new starting point. I realize the series has ended, but it feels more like it ended with new beginnings for each of them. Just a group of people who are happy to start their next story!

One of the best series.
The whole series had so much to offer. So many issues were touched just in 8 episodes and there wasn't a single dull moment. The most credit goes the amazing actors who put their everything in every role.
Among all Midnight Series storyline Moonlight Chicken hits the best moments ever. Congrats to them for making a triple story series reality 😊

18:32 "if i give up easily, will we have us today?" that's actually.. true. wen coming into the moonlight chicken diner was a whole domino effect. by meeting uncle jim, he actually heals the turmoil between jim and his nephew, jim's insecurities and past, and how he was able to gain courage to finally walk away from what he and alan had.

Among the characters, I don't think anyone solo-carried this show. They all contributed to the beautiful story-telling. This is a hallmark of great directing, amazing acting, brilliant writing, well-selected soundtrack, awesome sound engineering, and breathtaking cinematography. Thank you GMMTV and Disney Plus Hotstar for bringing this masterpiece to life.

Very agreed on that, this series easily enters to my top5 of best thai BLs ever! And i hope after this, ggmtv can produce something new and refreshing like this one because this series truly needs to be the talk on everywhere, just like when Sotus happened.
I think it's *because* there were only 8 episodes! The storytelling was so tight and hardly any scenes were unnecessary unlike some other BLs (looking at you, KP!) so nothing seemed like a waste of time. Also, I think I prefer the "slice of life" BLs because everything is so realistic and the emotions are too. Plus ALL of the actors were incredible in this, many kudos to the cast, writers, and directors!

Why can’t I stop crying?! All the characters growth were so perfect. When Jim told Jam that they shouldn’t be the adults they hate, I felt that so much. The open ending for Alan and Gaipa was so cute especially with Leng supporting it. And Heart and Li Ming are just the cutest because you can see just how much they really like eachother and it warms the heart so much :””). I’m really really going to miss this show so much like seriously

In my few years of watching thai BL never has a show made me cry like this one. This is the best BL I've ever seen hands down
I re-watched the scenes with Heart and noticed that every time Li Ming communicates with him in sign language, he's actually looking at his hands. It's such a small thing but it says a lot about the show's attention to details (either the director's or Gemini's) that Gemini wasn't just memorizing the scenes but actually reacting to whatever Fourth was signing to him.
As someone who knows and uses sing language, I must say that everything involving the deaf community was really well portrayed in this show!
The ending between Jim and Wen was both romantic and passionate - perfectly fit their characters. I really hope Earth and Mix do another series together. I loved them in 1000 stars & Cupid's Last Wish, but this was on a whole another level - they portrayed such realistic, flawed yet beautiful characters who end up in a mature & loving relationship. Just wonderful acting - I really thought they did an amazing job
The LiMing and Heart storyline is just too TOPTIER of all Thai BLs I’ve seen. Everything about it just moved me and I bet everyone who watched this magnificent series too. I just wish we could watch more of them. Crossing my fingers on a MingHeart standalone series in the future. I CANT GET ENOUGH IM CRYING 😭

BEST BL series by far, no over drama, no villains', no stereotypes, top notch acting, superb writing, atmosphere and music... perfect! This is a superior series, can wrap up beautifully in just 8 episodes, just amazing work GMM!
I love Leng teasing Gaipa and Alan 😂🥹 and the way they both just smiled about it. The FirstKhaotung crumbs are highly appreciated. I love both these characters and am so glad they're able to find happiness and each other 🥹 Alan was complex but I loved the growth, because once he learned to let go of Wen he was a better person for it. He and Gaipa both have so much love to give so I think they'll be a perfect match 🥹🥹
Seriously, I love this show and how even characters with a smaller part to play have a lot of depth and complexity.
Li Ming telling his Mom he has no problem with Heart being deaf and that he understands everything like everyone else, that the cutest thing being proud of his boyfriend, from this part 16:01onwards it's only tears, Wen found the home he was looking for 🥺.

I absolutely loved this series. I had expectations and hope for it, and they delivered. I was rooting for EarthMix, but FourthGemini blew me away. There's so much that I love about this series and the finale. They wrapped it up nicely. I was invested in all the characters. The acting was well delivered. Great job everyone! This series, though very short, easily moved to my top Thai BL. I am really enamored by it all.

Everyone´s acting in this series was fantastic, but Gemini and Fourth are so so good at acting and portraying their character´s feelings considering their age and that they just started acting. I´m so excited to see where their career is gonna take them 🙏

Why is this series not a movie at all? It deserves to be in cinema and be introduced worldwide. The story, the cinematography, the actors and their actings skills, the choice of songs/bg musics, these all spiced up the entire series! I just felt calm and relax all through out the series, but still being stirred up by lots of emotions.
I love how Jim portrays his character, being the responsible and good uncle all throughout. I love the maturity he shows for not getting easily swayed by feelings despite of Wen reaching out to him so many times, how his conviction was not easily destroyed despite he himself is longing for love or for someone. I love how Wen is being so understanding, so persistent, and so true to his feelings towards Jim. You can’t see any hatred on him too despite how many times Jim have pushed him away, but just the patience and love for him. He also shows maturity separating his work affairs from his personal feelings towards Jim.
I would like to summarise how good all the actors/characters in this series was but it will be a long one.
We just deserve this series! We deserve a love so pure that you won’t ever judge a person regardless of identity, disability, history etc. Thanks to the director and to all the staff who made this series possible!
I like the little moment between Li Ming and his mom at the mall. It was nice to see them trying to spend time together more and make good memories.
It's good to see that Gaipa and Alan both turned the page with Jim and Wen. They will be able to move forward and be happy.
Aww, it's really so beautiful to see that Heart parents are now so attentive to Heart, they listen to what he wants, they communicate with him using sign language, etc, it's so precious to see.
Li Ming and Heart have my heart. Their moment after the dragon little show, that was so pure. They're officially boyfriends. Adorable.
Loved the talk Li Ming and Jim had and that they said thank you to the other. It was so nice to see.
Alan is moving forward and seem to have a crush on Gaipa. I love that.
Leng got me emotional when he gave back the golden necklace Jim gave him to help him back then.

And Li Ming introducing Heart too. With Heart telling his name himself? I cried. It's so heartwarming. And Jim smiling, loved it.
Seeing all this family happy and sharing a meal, that melted my heart.
This show will have the death of me. This episode is making me cry so bad. Every moment is so precious and emotional.

I like the food truck for Jim, it's a nice idea.
It's a good way to see people, to share nice moments, etc.
Jim little speech about why he loves to make Chicken Rice, and seeing everyone happy eating in front of the food truck, that was so wholesome.
The whole last ten minutes with Wen and Jim together, that was so adorable.
So, Wen declined the job because he just built a home and he doesn't want to move anywhere? I crying. He did the right thing.
I'm emotional. It's the end. This show was so perfect. A masterpiece. One of my fav.

Gemini and Fourth portraying LiMing and Heart is MAGNIFICENT!!! Their portrayal is OUTSTANDING!!! I've never seen two young actors take on roles that are so demanding of each other. They totally are in sync with one another. I hope and pray they will have their own series 🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤🥰❤

I cried so hard when Li Ming was telling his mom about studying and working in America that was so well acted. I could feel the emotions like they were just starting to get to know each other again. She was getting him to open up more like they were reconnecting and she must’ve felt like all that was about to get taken away again but she knew she couldn’t object cause it’s his life and he gotta live it, and all she can do is be proud of him. Plus the music in that scene was spot on too. I cried like a baby the emotions just poured from the screen through me man. That was perfect! 3:13
I cried too. Jam had accepted Li Ming's sexuality. But when Li Ming asked his mom did she love Tor, and told her to make herself happy, I cried. I think Jam needed that acceptance from her grown son. That it was ok. Be happy. It was a lovely mom/son moment.

My JimWen boys finally together! The moment when Jim refers to Wen as "faen" and Wen's shy smile when he heard it made me cry, he had waited so long for this moment, the moment when Jim would completely open his heart to him! The kisses at the end, it was so natural, it was such a thing.. EarthMix, that's one of the reasons I admire them so much, EM doesn't seem like acting, they are natural, it feels like their lives are there, them being themselves and that makes me made me cry again! The peck was such a domestic thing too! I just want to thank EarthMix for making JimWen, for giving us these amazing roles and saying how proud I am of you both! ❤️

8:20 is the moment I've been waiting for, Heart finally saying Li Ming's name , its such an outward expression of love like holy sheesh, just when I thought they couldn't get any sweeter they gave us this lasting moment. Honestly, I only expected Heart to maybe say "I love you" or something like that but him actually saying his now boyfriend's name is the most romantic thing I've ever seen from a series!! Never gonna get over HeartLiMing CRYINGGG
Now that the show ended I want to say that Earth portrayed Jim so perfectly, like i could never imagine someone else playing the role of Jim. He did his homework amazingly about the details of Jim's character and learned a lot from them too.

I was about to ask how come Wen didn't mention his promotion. But after seeing the ending, I get it. Ah, it's always so sad when a beautiful series like this comes to an end 🥹 It gave me the same bittersweet feelings as when A Tale of A Thousand Stars ended. This is yet another masterpiece of P'Aof with EarthMix starring in it. Each and every character in Moonlight Chicken leaves a deep impression in my heart. None of their life story is exactly the same, they're not related by blood but they cross path, understand and complete one another like a family. 💙 Thank you P'Aof and all the cast. The storytelling and everything has been so beautifully done since Day 1. I'll miss this so much. I feel like it should have had more episodes tbh 🥺🥰

Such a great masterpiece for an 8 episode series. You can keep asking for more but as satisfied with 8 episodes. Mix and Fourth really gave justice to their characters, as well as everyone, but them two standing out, as perfectly portraying their frustrations without aggressively destroying context. And I still stand as firm as it is, when I say, First is top tier with his acting during this show.
Not 8 episode series, but 8 episode story. If we count everything, Midnight Series has a total of 20 episodes, and is built up of 3 storylines. There's no such series with only 8 episodes I've known in GMMTV. Please also read the hashtag above Moonlight Chicken's letter. That's the real series' name. I'm Star and Sky's official fan, and we know that it's impossible for two different series to have the same ending ost, but two different storylines in a series can. Besides, I always play it every day, every night. During work, during sleep. Slim chance we might see Midnight Series special ep too 😊
This series exceeded my expectations in every way. From the script to cinematography to the acting. Every actor did so well. First-khaoutung has always been incredible but earth-mix and fourth-gemini even mark really blew me away. P'aof really proved himself with this.

Everything was so realistic in this entire series like no high school drama, no past phobia , no soul switching....it was such an incredible series about real issues of money, insecurity, disability, responsibility, loss of parents, breakup,etc....every episode was so epic in itself... thanks to entire team for this piece of art....pure art ❤️

Seeing these four couples in on frame is so fulfilling. I cannot say that this is the best series of GMMTV coz they know how to make genuine shows like every series has it's own unique flavor and never get dull moments. The storyline and plot are always unpredictable and the music scoring bar is high. I love it so much. I will definitely miss this again like ATOTS .

I love the cast, the scenario, the ost, the ending, the decor, the development of the events and how each character bloomed in their own way! This show portrayed all kinds of love, family love between the uncle, his sister and Li Ming, father- son relationship between Wen and his dad, mother- son between Gaipa and his mom, friends love between uncle Jim, Saleng, Gaipa, Wen and Li Ming, also the beautiful friendship and care that eloped at the end between Alan and Wen, and the lovers type of love, either, straight or same gender love ❤️ The ending was perfect and everything in place, everybody found their happiness and made their dreams come true! Once again I'm fascinated by how much efforts and the amount of feelings and consideration that were put into each role, how every actor portrayed it and brought the character to life!! Hats off to every one of them! 👏🏻 The GMM family amazed us again with "Moonlight Chicken"!! That has become a part of our weekly routine!! The EarthMix series was truly worth the wait!! I personally love it and want to thank them all for this precious masterpiece!! We could feel the warmth of the family and friendly bond between all of the cast members! Thanks na krub!! Thank you for this amazing series. Li Ming character taught me many things such as maturity in young age. Li Ming and Heart were absolutely the winners in "sweetest love story" marathon. Their story was my favorite from 2023 by now. WE NEED MORE OF THEM.
But I really want to see more of Alan and Gaipa too. Idk maybe some special ep. or second season with just them, like Between Us. They need really nice ending of their story.

Realistic but still making you enter a beautiful atmosphere with a touch of special magic full of details and cultural elements. Also both, characters you can relate to or very different characters you learn to understand. It becomes more than a story, it's a whole experience and I appreciate it. Please never stop releasing series like this from time to time 💛

i think the best scene in this episode is when the character gathering together, makes me really feel the warm, so beautiful, Alan and Gaipa, Wen helping Jim, Liming and Eart, Praew and Saleng with their kid, really awesome, kudos to MLC, i really love it
Earth and Mix did their part so well as Jim and Wen. Their roles being complex having flaws in them but they're perfect for each other as they're mature in their own ways and can understand each other.
I'm soo proud of you both, from 1000stars to here, both of you excelled more in acting and chemistry.. although I expected more scenes of JimWen together 😭 (hoping someday we'll get JimWen special episode), nonetheless, I'll pray for more EarthMix series only with full 12-14 episode

This was an amazing series. So many different kinds of love and bonds. Everyone is so talented and portrayed their characters so well. Big round of applause for the youngest ones Gemini and fourth, their characters were really different and difficult, but they did it so incredibly.
Earth-mix always has my heart. Khao and first are top-notch actors and delivered so well as expected.
“I just built a home. I don’t want to move anywhere” that last line is so well put, because Wen was trying to find a permanent home. He wanted a home where someone could be waiting for him, where all his tiredness would be gone, where his mind would be at peace and he found it when he was wandering around after being promoted because he was celebrating alone, finding the Moonlight Chicken. And it’s so beautiful how this story started with his promotion, but he is not letting another promotion end it. He’s staying, he’s someone who wants something and just go for it, his heart told him Jim was the one and he didn’t lose hope and just waited for Jim to finally let him it. He was the one who broke down Jim’s walls, the one who is loving him in the right way. I’m always blushing when EarthMix have scenes together and when they kiss each other I squeal and feel shy 22:47 🙈 this was hot 23:45 and this kiss was more heartfelt, even for the real actors 24:11 and I’m glad Jim did the same 24:30, they have talent for seduction, especially Mix 24:39 and I hope we get to see it more later 😉

Moonlight Chicken has always been my most awaited series since the GMMTV 2022 series schedule. I waited for so long and honestly, I wasn’t disappointed one bit. Although the 8 episodes still don’t seem enough to fill my heart, I still loved it so much. It was so worth the wait. Everything was so well balanced and perfect. It was incredibly well made! I keep wanting more episodes showing Alan and Gaipa’s progress, Li Ming and Heart’s future in America, Praew and Leng’s future and lastly our dear Jim and Wen. I loved this show.
This series really was worth the wait I am so happy surprised with the vast amount of characters and stories and I loved them all such a touching story

One of the most cutest couple ever witnessed in Thai BL is Ming & Heart... My heart beats fast when they look at each other and smile with no words. Their chemistry is like stealing our heart in a second. Such a beautiful and cutest couple.
This series has become my most favorite one and biggest thanks to the director for giving us such soulful one after very long time. Definitely it is a masterpiece and every characters made us cry with their acting.
Wen and Jim are the adorable couple in Thai BL they know how to create magic with their chemistry and grab audiences.
The whole world becomes the cutest thing when Heart says Li Ming's name. OMG what could be more adorable than this. I was jumping in cloud nine and smiling, crying and holing my heart. Love you guys for turning me into a kid.
The end is so beautiful when all characters meets at one place with different journey. Gaipa is the brilliant actor you ever witness. When Gaipa realize that Alan is hitting on him, he gives proud sign is so adorable. Need more Episodes of Gaipa love. I this is not yet ended. I feel like missing the world. Sin duda alguna de las series más hermosas que he visto en mi vida me encanto que a pesar de tener diferentes edades, personalidades y estilos de vida, Jim y Wen conectan de una manera tan bonita al igual que Li Ming y Heart solo que en ellos un poco diferente ya que ellos rápidamente conectan y empiezan una amistad que pronto se convierte en algo más.
Me gusta ver que mostraron la perspectiva de amabas partes de la historia y que navegaran por los altibajos de la vida amorosa, desde el enamoramiento inicial hasta los desafíos que enfrentan al tratar de mantener su “relación” porque en si no era oficial al inicio.
Disfrute demasiado la tensión que se incrementa a medida que luchan por equilibrar sus propias necesidades y deseos. La serie explora temas importantes como la aceptación, el aborto, la homosexualidad, la importancia de la paternidad y el estatus social, la realidad , ser sordo, la igualdad y el más importante el amor.
La química entre los dos actores principales EarthMix siempre lo dire es es tan hermosa y natural que hacen de su historia de amor una historia convincente y conmovedora.
Los personajes secundarios también son interesantes y añaden profundidad a la trama pero sin embargo el FourthGemini no tengo palabras para explicar la hermosa y profunda química que tienen, realmente tenía mis ojos puesto en ellos dos en la serie, su historia sin duda tan hermosa que me llenaba de lágrimas cada que estaban en pantalla.

This has become my favourite BL drama of all time I am not even kidding. It had everything from glamor to real life stories. The acting of these actors felt so real that I cried. Everyone had their own growth. The episode where Auntie dies and Gaipa has to sing is one of the best scenes and how its potrayed is just ❤. Fourth's outburst regarding his future was smth I could relate to as I wanted to go abroad and not spend my entire life where I am. I just can't express how happy it made me after I completed this series. Love all of the guy and the director who made this possible. I would work my ass off just to meet the director to thank him cuz god damn he nailed this one.

This REALLY needs a spin-off continuing Li Ming and Heart's relationship. Gemini and Fourth absolutely brought these two characters to life in ways even veteran actors would struggle to do. Gemini really deserves all the praise he could ever get for his portrayal of Heart. The level of emotion, etc. he managed to bring to the character was sheer perfection and even more so with the few times that he did speak out loud. I can't even imagine the amount of work he put in to learning how to speak like a deaf person, it definitely had the emotional weight to it that it needed when he did.

I just can't believe that it took me 6 months before I finally watched Moonlight Chicken. The last bl series that I watched was My School President and it also took me months before I decided to watch it because I lost interest in watching any series. When I finished watching My School President, I get to love the whole cast. I admit I only watched MLC because of GeminiFourth but unknowingly this series really touched my heart. Every actors and actress in this series did great. And P'Aof is such an amazing director. This is just an 8 episode series but everything about this series is amazing 💙💙💙 Definitely it made my 2023 so so much better 💙💙💙

We waited for a year for this series and it is worth the wait. The way the whole story has been wrapped up so neatly and beautifully in just an eight episode content is worth applauding. I loved how awkward it was for Alan to meet someone in front of Wen but how Wen made him feel it was okay to do so. Also it was a beautiful ending with all the couples in their own spaces of happiness in same screen. Thank you to all casts and crews for this lovely journey

Thank you for this masterpiece. It took me a while to come back and finish it and to be honest i think it came to me in the right time, when i needed it the most. This is the first and only TV show among the other BL i've watched that made me cry. It's so simple just like chicken and rice recipe but incredible and touching. This story was so human, about meeting and saying goodbye about life and death, about different kinds of love, even every kind of love had its own kinds. The love of the mother, so easy yet so different. The love of Jem for Li Ming, the love of ms Thong for Gaipa, the love for Heart from his mother. No doubt theu loved their sons but how different they showed it. Ths story wasn't about ships and interractions like many others but about peoples lives and struggles and again about love. I could say a lot more about this show. Thank you so much
