If you wanna watch all you should watch the whole series with other couples as well. They edited only PeteKao scenes and uploaded it to UA-cam.

Honestly, I like Tay's role as Pete, but I love his role as Karan better because Karan in Cherry Magic is so good-natured, smart and friendly and Pete is a pessimistic, sarcastic bad boy. Although I still like Tay's role as Pete in Kiss Me Again and Dark Blue Kiss.

I've tried to watch the whole series, but i really can't stand the other couple, they're so meh 😩. So i just watch only petekao part. 😄
I also tried to watch the complete series, but the couples were weird, I don't think it is worth it.
In this series I can see for completely why people liked the BL couple more than the other ones, Pete/Kao (and the gang) story is really interesting as a whole, unlike in Bad Romance, in that one I can't really understand why the BL couple was more "popular" when it was so badly executed, I didn't even find them more interesting than the main couple at all (but, to be honest, Bad Romance was a bad series overall).

Pete has the best character development of any gay drama I've seen, he matures so much because of kao that you can see in DBK. I love watching this 🥰

Agreed. However, I do have issues with the way Kao is written after the two of them start "dating" (After Pete breaks up with Mint). Kao's character clearly is gay from the start. He has never had interest in girls based on the way his character is written. However, when he and Pete are finally together, Kao is behaving like he is a str8 guy with Pete, his drunk gay friend, hitting on him instead of Kao being clearly in love with Pete.
I understand that, in a show like this, the two of them cannot just jump into bed and start F8^KING...but Kao should be a little more proactive in the romance side of the relationship. I even found that this same behaviour carried on through DBK as Pete became the one more open to being in a gay relationship than Kao was.
Oh well...still a great story for these two. Start off as mortal enemies from a silly high school fight and wind up lovers.
"Don't kid with me like this, asshole" was such a natural reply 😂 it feels like he'd say that irl too if Tay ever proposed to him (ik it's not gonna happen neither am I dreaming of it).... And idk how many times I've come back to watch this episode 😭 I love them so much

Technically, there are 3 series:
Kiss the Series: (Came out first) Focuses mostly on Sandee and Thada, with PeteKao as a secondary established couple working through issues.
Kiss Me Again: focuses on Sandee's sisters and their relationships, but also shows the origins of PeteKao's relationship.
Dark Blue Kiss: Pete/Kao are the main couple, and this focuses on their relationship after the events of Kiss Me Again (or Kiss The Series).
You can either watch in the order the shows were released (aka KTS, KMA, DBK), or you can watch in the order their relationship starts (KMA, KTS, DBK), or just watch KMA and DBK and skip KTS.

I actually went back to watch the full KMA series after completing these cuts and DBK. There were a few small details missing like Sun's interest in Kao, but the other plot lines were friggen boring or annoying as heck.
Kiss the series was more bearable, but the twist with PeteKao at the 2nd last episode made me cackle. Made it worth it.

I love PeteKao's relationship because once Pete was sure of his heart, he wasn't going to settle for anyone but Kao and Kao respects himself enough to not be his side man, and stupidly wait for a "what if". He knows what he wants, understand that he is equal and demands to be treated as such. Until he is sure there won't be any wavering of the heart from Pete's side is when he gives his heart away. DBK proves Kaos heart is true and Pete was worth his wait.

100 % THIS. There is a lot of power imbalance with a lot of BL couples, and I cannot stand it. Kao is a Great character and he deserves to be treated well. I‘m still a bit weary of Pete‘s jealousy, but apart from that, I thought their relationship was great: the flirting, the teasing, the honest conversations about their feelings without it becoming cliched or cheesy...I also liked that they were both sure about their sexualities. Kao knows he is gay. He has no problem with it, BUT he understands that it might cause him problems in society. His hesitance of coming out doesn’t come from a place of internalised homophobia- it comes from him thinking that other people might think bad of him. The scene where he told Pete that he had to be perfect in every way to male up for his sexuality (for his mum), really broke my heart. This couple‘s chemistry is great, and I honest to god don‘t know why so many awkward couples (with non con scenes) have a bigger following than these two. I hope that BL fans will support more healthy BL couples in the future. :)
