Hi, thanks for the tutorials, they're great. This is a long question. Is there anyway to take a Snapshot and load it (copy it) into a different show? The multiple users at my casino have set up one Show (the "Master Show") then they've saved each band as a Snapshot under that "Master Show". So, if I go in and remix a certain band, I either "replace it" and the next person has to figure out what I did OR I don't replace it and all those adjustments are lost. We could create multiple Snapshots of that band under the Master Show but then there's 5 or 6 different versions of that band under that Show (e.g. Jim's (version) of The Fave, Todd's (version) of the Fave, etc.). I wish they set M.F. up as you have- each show is a different band, then everyone could have one Snap. stored under that band to control as they wish. Can I copy the Snap. I have under our (stupid!) Master Show so I can load it into my own Show? All my bands would be different Snaps under my personal Show. I hope this question makes sense, Thank you!

Hi Jim, I completely understand your dilemma. I use a different show for each band, and I think that's what you are wanting to do. That makes the most sense to me, and then in that show, I would have job locations or simply the date. Since I am the only user of my system, I don't bother with putting my initials in the snapshot's name. I would recommend that you create a NEW SHOW. To do this, first load the snapshot from whatever show that you want to duplicate. Then in the "Offline Shows" tab, choose "NEW SHOW". This will create a new show with everything identical to the snapshot that you had loaded when you created this new show, except for just one thing.... wait for it,....... wait for it.... :( the pictures in the channel IDs of the band members and their instruments etc. will NOT be recalled in this newly created show because those pictures are stored in the "SHOW"...... the one that you HAD loaded before you created this new one. If that is not a problem for you, then that is the easiest way to basically copy a snapshot. I wish they had a "COPY" option in the drop down menu... "Recall, Name, Replace, Delete...... COPY, PASTE.... I am reasonably confident that the reason they don't have a COPY option is because the pictures would need to be merged, and that would be confusing to the "SHOW" that the snapshot was being pasted from.
This is a good time for me to remind you that you should use the iPad's camera instead of the camera from within Master Fader's channel ID. If you do that from now on, you will have those pictures available to use in any show.
Now, as I was saying when I interrupted myself... :) Create a new show, name it "The Fave". When that band has a gig at the casino and Jim runs the sound for them, he loads "The Fave" show, and after he is happy with the soundcheck, he creates a new snapshot, and names it Jim Oct 26-19. From that point on in THIS GIG, he only uses the "Replace" option,... he would NOT create a bunch of snapshots. When Bill runs sound for that band a few weeks later, he should load Jim's snapshot, then he would modify it to his liking, changing anything he wants except in the routing tab. Then after the soundcheck, Bill would create a new snapshot and name it Bill Nov 09-19. So, in order for you to have a separate "SHOW" for each band from this point forward, you would need to load the snapshot for band 1, then create a new show and name the show after that band's name. You will need to do this for all the bands so they have their own show. Remember that just because you created a new show, Master Fader will still have the previous show loaded until you go to the newly created show and choose "Recall" on the snapshot. It will take some time to do this, but after that, you would delete the older stuff so there is no confusion. As far as your wish to have your own show with all the bands in it as snapshots, I would not recommend that because it would be too easy for someone to use "YOUR SHOW" instead of theirs, and then you would be all messed up. One more idea,,, you could bring your own iPad that nobody else has access to and load whatever show you want. Feel free to call me today if you need more help. @@user-jx3jp3gb4x Hi Dan, THANK YOU for such a prompt and detailed response! What's happening is I'm running a show that's already in the "Master Show" of our M.F. I'm trying to get that existing "session" Snapshot into a new Show. When I create MY new Show, will the Current Show (that is or was in the "Master Show") still be running, therefore I can save a Snap. of it into my new Show, now called Jim's Show? Thanks

In other words, The Fave has already been there. I don't want to create a whole new mix/lay-out for them. I want to get the old Snapshot (with all it's tracks and settings) into my new Show. Sorry, if I'm still a tad confused.

I'm only trying to do this because there's no way I will get the rest of the gang to put the 50+ bands already in the system into separate Shows. I want to create my own Show and put the old (existing) Snapshots into it. No soundcheck ever takes place by the way. The band shows up 10 minutes before they play so these old Snapshots are already configured.

THANK YOU for your time and the videos again. No need to answer. I know you're popular/busy. The whole thing was just set up wrong from the beginning but I'll deal with it. I've watched all your vids and am doing great with M.F. in a pro. position, except for the dumb way they set it up! LOL Rock on man! Appreciated :) Jim
