Anna Lashchevska 🇺🇦 impresses on Beam with a candle mount, switch half to bhs, and a very nice front handspring to front tuck combination, which she made look easy. She does a switch ring late in the routine, right before her 2.5 twist dismount. Calm and well-paced. 13.333.
Meh- it’s perfectly adequate, but doesn’t stand out among other good candle mounts. It’s definitely not iconic in the way Laschenova’s layout on beam is for example.
@@PeirsolFan2 What an odd comment. Me- "Much better amplitude and execution in that candle mount than the majority of others I've seen." You- "Yeah, but it's not as awesome as this completely dissimilar, categorically unrelated, super iconic piece of gymnastics from this phenomenally talented Olympic and World Champion from 35 years ago. Nice to meet you." LOL. It's not as good as Yang Bo's Ruflova, or Lisa Zeis's punch front pike mount or Sanne's Wevers or 3P's switch Yang Bo leap either, but we weren't talking about those skills. I'm so glad I saw this before we left Akron today. It was a great Natalia Laschenova Invitational guys! 3 Cheers for Adie's 10.0 on UB!
W-wh-wha? Wait... 1:21 what fresh hell is this? Who is choreographing her beam routine? That's a -0.10 off right there. Does she not know? She even turns from side position left to face the close end of the beam so that she then has to turn 180*...and does it on 2 feet! Gah! The humanity.
Her senior debut is also successful. Silver on beam and gold on bars!

She could have won without these tiny balance checks and the 2 gigantic steps on her dismount. She has the potential to win international medals.
Now that's how that mount _should_ be done.
