Hello Nina, I've being watching you for some time and I very much appreciate your style and explanations ! Thank you for these demonstrations, because they're very effectives! You are a very gifted person as a painter and as a teacher, as well! Thank you!
I am coming to Australia from South Africa where I live. I am going to Perth. Is there anywhere I can see your original paintings Perth or maybe Adelaide. ? Can you recommend an art shop in Perth? Thanks for the many hours of pleaselure you give me both watching and putting what I see in practice.
Hi Frances, unfortunately I don't have a representative in WA. The watercolor Society of WA had one of my painting while they run 42nd international exhibition and Plein Air competition, but it was in July. I would definitely recommend to visit them anyway. Fremantle is an "art capital" of WA. They usually have great exhibitions and workshops there. Here is their website: www.watercolourswa.org.au. you can just pop in and ask lots of questions. They are super friendly. They are located in Moores Building, Fremantle. In regards to an art shop, I know there is Jacksons Drawing Supplies shop near by, but not sure how good it is.
Thank you Nina for sharing this. It's absolutely beautiful. It is so realistic can feel the peace just looking at it. I can even see an angel in that cloud in the centre. Don't know if you meant that go be there or not it's like an angel on its knees praying over the mountain. Maybe you didn't realise when you were painting it but hopefully now if you do see what I see you'll know that its extra special. I love it angel or no angel but I could not help noticing that as you were painting it. Thank you too for all your tutorials they have been so helpful. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it. God bless you Nina. Much love Susan xxxx💖💖💖💖🕊🕊🕊🕊❤🙏🙏🙏👼🤗🎨
Thank you very much Susan! No I didn't mean it :) but now I see it too, he probably wanted to be seen and got into the painting. I've always been attracted to this painting without any known reason, now I know why :) thank you for letting me see it!
@@nvfineartstudio7296 Hi Nina thank you for replying to my comment. I'm so glad you see this angel and actually when I saw it after there looked to be two smaller ones at each side facing the one in the middle. Bit lower. Nearer the mountain. I believe you are being blessed Nina. It is a beautiful painting and I believe God himself guided your hand. Maybe that's why you're so attracted to it. I love it. I was thinking alrigh while you were painting g it that you didn't think of that or mean it but now you see I'm so glad you like it. You are truly talented and may God keep blessing you with your talent. He certainly did here. God bless you. Thanks again and much love always. Susan xxx🙏🙏🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰👍💖💖💖💖🎨👼
Thank you so much Susan! There is no way a person may have a talent without God's blessings! And if I have one I feel obliged to share it with others in return. I'm glad people enjoy it. I'm glad you enjoyed it! Having these little angels in the painting is a reminder that everything is in God's hands and he is watching over us. Thank you very much for taking time to comment! 🙏🙏🙏
@@nvfineartstudio7296 Thank you Nina for replying once again. Yes I totally agree with you. Gods talents are to share with others and I'm sure so many enjoy this painting as much as I do and indeed your other paintings and tutorials. Those Angel's are with you helping you along the way and keeping you safe while painting all these beauties for us to enjoy and try to paint with you. Don't stop now!!! You have helped me and so many get back on that bus to try painting and drawing again and many after years in some cases like myself. You dont know how much I have learned from watching you and your advice. I can't thank you enough. I still have a long way to go and art has come such a long way that I'm learning all over again from scratch and it's so good to have these tutorials of drawing and painting and getting back into it again and even more so. ENJOYING IT.I love learning and this is like its brand new again . And it's a joy to get back to it. I never wanted to stop but life and circumstances got in the way. And I stopped and like an old gate I got rusty.😄😄😄. I didn't think I could go back to it again. I think this painting and the Angel's in it were maybe trying to tell me something too. Love you. Keep up the good work Nina. God bless you always. Susan xxx ❤❤🎨💕💕💕👼👼👼👍🙏🙏🙏💖💖💖🌸🌸🌸
Absolutely captivating. The illuminating light on the back mountains…WOW, nice work I will try this and bravely post on my insta with reference to you. Thank you for inspiring me to challenge myself.
¡ Que maravilla! Gracias por tu vídeo.¿Que papel es este o qué manera usas para que puedas meter tanto rato pintura y que se quede fundida y no se seque?
Hi Johanna, I wet both sides for my first wash, it keeps it moist for longer, as this is a largiesh paper size. 6:15 is still wet on wet, but the paper is not as wet, and 7:00 the foreground is almost dry paper at this point. My second wash 8:39 is done on dry paper.
@@nvfineartstudio7296 Thank you so musch for tour detailed answer. The result you get is fantastic, so I’m going to try wetting the reverse of the paper too. Usually I spray to keep the moisture but sometimes the droplets affect the paint :-)
Woah, do you record videos in bulk and release one by one or paint a picture a day? How do you get all the time! This one looks interesting, especially the dark values. How do you limit your strokes? I'm gonna try this.
I try to paint every other day, and try to finish painting in one go. Practice, practice, practice. :) Watercolor is good in this, easy to start and quick to finish IF you have a good plan in your head 😉. Re strokes - big brushes definitely help, go the biggest you can manage :) thanks for the questions and good luck!
Hi Marybeth, it is John Pike 20 well palette. I don't remember exactly, but definitely remember it was online and sent from USA. It's a popular palette, just look it up online, I'm sure you'll find it no issues.

This is beautiful Nina! Did you pre-wet the paper before you started or is the background wet on dry?

Lovely! Are you working on wet paper?
Thank you Luann, yes, I cannot remember 100% but I might've pre wet both sides in this demo.
Where did you purchased your plastic paint palette? How many colors does it hold? Thank you.
