Yeah another rough one from the house haha. Like Boadicea, there are a handful from the line I think are okay for $100-120, similar pricing to newer Montale large bottles. The quality beats out designers at the same price but I’d pick many other niche lines.

Was always skeptical of this brand after seeing all the free bottles. Apparently Electimuss Imperium gets compared to Aventus and Nishane Ani. Trajan is supposed to be something like BR540 🤦🤦🤦
A while ago I purchased the full discovery set and was surprised that there wasn't one fragrance in the whole lot that knocked my socks off. What with all the hype and all. Quite disappointing actually. Some fragrances have come out since I made my purchase, but I'm not going to bother ordering the samples. If you would like me to send you all the samples I have, I would be happy to do so.
Appreciate it but honestly I don't have much interest in the brand since sniffing these two, if I stumble upon decants or samples I'll sniff em but there's so much more out there to discover. Really appreciated tho!
Just a thought from a niche guy who has a few - black caviar and vici leather are pretty special. To me. Don't disagree on some of the others and thoughts.
Unfortunately, you got your nose on two of the mediocre offerings from the brand. I'd recommend Amber Aquilaria, Octavian, Vici Leather, Aquila Absolute, Black Caviar, Gladiator Oud to name a few

Agreed. There are some redundant ones, but some really special ones. Vici leather is a favorite. Tremendous leather and tuberose.

well it seems we found ourselves another brand with no identity.

What Montale I should be looking for in comarison to this one?
If you want standard Rose/Oud/Saffron, I'd recommend where I started with the brand and that was Black Aoud.
When you said "its a sister house to Boudica" it all made sense.
same, when I discovered that fact I had a ah ha moment.
it is a clone of Bond no 9 New York Oud ?
It was not the first thing I thought about when I smelled it, may have to revisit my bottle of NY Oud.
