this is meant to either be combined with a second access controller or with a standard dual sense controller - that said, two of these is cheaper than trying to do the same with the microsoft solutions, which is about $100 for a big controller that has only two buttons and a bunch of ports, another $100 for a box of buttons, and then you still need to find control sticks. The fact that you can use just one of these + the regular controller with the playstation is also more useful to people who have one fully functional hand, instead of buying into a hyper specialized device you only need some of.
I have this controller I think you guys should have options for adaptive d-pad buttons. Because it's hard to reach while it's binded up,down, left, right arrow buttons into it
As a quadriplegic I’m kind of disappointed. I thought they came as a per. It’s only just one controller per box. This is going to be expensive then. Still want to get it.
True irony it’s “hands on” as I have one hand and have been waiting to see a person use it that way as it’s made for disabled gamers and I can’t seem to find a video where it helps. You just think that if it’s for disabled people sony would show it that way to demonstrate how much it helps but every video by them is someone who it isn’t designed to help using it. Looks like it works great. Dare I say as well as a NORMAL CONTROLLER in the hands of the abled.
How about people without finger function? We were always ps fans but I guess we’re going to have to change to Xbox… we waited on this controller only to be SO LET DOWN! 😢
Actually I’ve just thought of something… Is anyone here good at fixing retro electronics? Basically I’m trying to buy up every single one of these joysticks that I can because at some point I won’t be able to my PlayStation as and when the last ever joystick brakes on me. The new Accessible Controller from PlayStation is sadly absolutely useless for me in every way, so my joystick is literally the only thing that works for me. A few have broke on me and we have no idea how to fix them etc. I was wondering if anyone here can fix them for me or knows anyone who can I would gladly pay them for fixing it for me. Gaming massively helps my mental health and if I could find a fixer I would treat them like a king 😂 Thanks in advance, Kain
@@bamban_garcia5562 Not to mention there's not nearly as many people who are going to need one, so there'll be less sold overall, meaning the price needs to be adjusted accordingly. People forget they're not a charity, it's a company who needs to make money.
They should come up with foot buttons attachments. If someone has one hand for joystick then he can use his foot fingers for buttons
need second thumbstick you can combine dualsense
Logitech makes separate adaptive buttons you can plug into the controller via 3.5 mm jacks

Is the second joystick in the standard controller the big middle section of the disability controller?

why dont they just make their own hyperspeed mouse and keyboard with special feature like haptic mouse etc ?!?!?
charge more for that than a PS5 controller, way to rip off disabled people.
Price reflects all the tech built into it that showcases its accessibility towards disabled people
@@bamban_garcia5562 it is no different than a normal controller in tech just shaped different, so do not try to sell me some BS.

Low volume sales but R&D remains. They need recoup their money.
