I’ve been thinking a lot about this as an Anarchist revolutionary first and future educator second. I want to try to deconstruct biases in my students’ minds and quite frankly to make them Anarchists. I know that won’t be possible for everyone but I want to try to find ways to break down hegemonic narratives in my students’ minds. Thank you for this and a lot of other things on your channel, giving me lots of things to think about
This is so interesting! I've just started to take a class on starting to teach and one of the main take homes from the first lesson was about how what the student does is more important than what the teacher does (aka active learning Vs just listening to teacher) and of course that's very black and white but these activities seem great examples of that!

Ohh yes finding ways to disrupt hegemonic narratives resonates deeply. Sounds like you will make a great educator ✊🏻 thank you!

Oh cool, that sounds like a very interesting class. I totally agree- I'm always trying new ways of getting students to drive the learning!
Glad to have you back, Marine!
