Hey Nate, Barry Edgar here. I used to guide on the Peshy and the Gorge and was the River Manager for Kathy at Thorntons back around 2009 - 2015. I have been following Cody and Kellie for some time now. Enjoy them. Nice to see the Gorge footage from river level again as well as the drone views! .

I LOVE WHITE WATER RAFTING! I've done the Nontahala in NC twice with my grandkids. They loved it too!
That was fun. I did those rapids almost 40 years ago in a canoe. I'm 61 now so its not too likely I will run them again, but it was so fun watching you raft through there.

Kellie and Cody you were less than a half hour from my home when you were staying with Nate at his farm. Nate is a great guy. I used to work as a guide and River Manager on the Gorge and another popular WW river here in the area for another rafting company. Also was an open canoe ww instructor and an avid paddler. Mostly now I travel the Yoop overlanding and camping in my off road Runaway Venturist camper which I pull with my Toyota FJ Cruiser. Enjoy your channel very much especially your Yoop wanderings. Come back sometime in the Fall and see the Western Upper in all its blaze of color..........and NO BUGS! Stay safe!...... Barry Edgar

Wow! That was a fun video to watch! I lovewhite water rafting having done one in Austria and one through the Grand Canyon on the Colorado River. Another fun trip is floating down a river with crazy fun people. The Salt River near Phoenix, AZ is one I found the most enjoyable as twenty or so of us tied our inner tubes together and we rented two extra tubes to carry large coolers of food and beverages. The operators provided buses to drop us off and pick us up. The trip was four hours if I'm not mistaken.

I am so glad I watched this before going to work. Just watching that rafting got me pumped! Looked like a great time and the kids were having a blast as well. Chicken marsala looked delicious and the chicken friends were cute (I feel so ironic for saying that!) Also let's call the potato masher/meat grinder a "mulit-tensil" lol -Hedy

Wow, that was awesome, Great footage in this video. Your drone footage gives your viewers a nice birds eye view of the surrounding beauty you're camping in. We look forward to all your uploads. Health FYI. Salt is good for helping all the other ingredients release their flavors. Too much salt can attribute to swelling/inflammation, not just in your joints, hands, legs and feet but also internal organs. That can cause future organ damage. Just saying. Stay healthy, camp safe and enjoy life. We love y'all.
I got knocked out of the raft on a class five (Chattooga of Deliverance fame) and went over a five foot waterfall and didn't pop back up to the surface until 100 yards later. Good times!

What a great spot, I never knew there was whitewater rafting near Iron Mountain. May I suggest Ohiopyle, PA for any future white water rafting trips. Great camping there too. Thanks for the videos.
oh man, white water rafting is crazy! We've done it a couple of times, in the New River Gorge and so exciting! Also, if you ever get the chance, take a hot air ballon ride, we have also done that a couple of times too, one was over the Smoky Mts..........Sorry your leaving Michigan before you went to the Kewanaw P, and went to Copper Harbor! Beware, IF you go to West Virginia or Penn, to go white water rafting, beware, they are worse!
Try the New River in West Virginia. A little more "brisk"... but quite the thrill.

Great video!! I was at Pier’s Gorge last week Wednesday hiking, got to see the rafters come down the river! I’ve never rafted it, maybe I’ll try it next year. I’ve just seen several rafters flip when I’ve been there, I always chicken out. Lol. I hike it every summer. I camped in Crivitz WI at Governor Thompson State Park all last week.
Hi Cherie. We would love to get you safely down the gorge! Usually when you see people flip it is either because the water is lower than 1,300 cfs or higher than 3,400 cfs. This time of year the dams typically release really safe flows in the afternoon. So if you came on our 2:30 pm trip you’d have a really smooth level likely. You can call in and ask what the flows are like and book the day of if you want too

I wave spend quality time that has meaning with my three kiddos ranging from 2, 9, and 13. My husband is pretty amazing with bushcraft type of thing me not so much. However I can’t wait to learn. We want a little home stead and build a off grid cabin. And build shelters my kids design ;) Thanks for the uploads can’t wait to see more!!!

Try to put the amount of cream in the sauce that it needs at the beginning. If you add more cold cream to a hot sauce, it can break the sauce. Which means it separates, it is still ok, but probably not the look you are going for and it might have a different flavor because the fat is no longer holding it all together. Yours looked great.

Hey guys great video. Dollar tree actually sells those ground meat choppers too that's where I got mine and I also use it to tenderize raw meat inside a ziplock bag I just use that in place of a meat hammer and it works great for that too. I so enjoyed watching you guys on the raft. Kelly's face sometimes was pretty funny LOL 🤓❤️🖐️💯

Really awesome video Me and my wife just actually got back from from going to 2 different state parks in one week we had A-blast 1st we went to lake Brownwood state park here in Texas then we went all the way to Lake Livingston Texas state park And yep we were definitely living it up Dome lifestyle no RV for us The 1st park wasn't humid because we camped right off of the lake in Brownwood but as soon as we went to lake Livingston of course there's beautiful trees and lots of trails and stuff like that but it was way more humid so as far as fans and stuff at night time we're going to have to upgrade to something a little different but what we had worked just not powerful enough if you got any ideas On what use would suggest for better air circulation as far as solar powered or battery powered I'm all ears Appreciate it

My dad and I are going on a week and half long kayak camping trip this august in Arkansas. We’re from Texas and kayak the Llano river all the time. Was wondering if y’all had any recommendations for camp sites on the way to the Buffalo River? We will be hammock camping trying to avoid a hotel room for the experience.

Chicken is so delicious; chickens will cannibalize other chickens dead or alive. We had a chicken injured by a neighbor's dog and our other chickens thought he was delicious until we removed him from the run.
