Some of us use our tablet or phone as a hotspot. I use my tablet as a hotspot. I have my tab as the hotspot, and that's where I'm trying to get it to work. It used to work on my phone just fine without but my phone screen is 6.5" compared to my 13" or so laptop, and about 11" tab. If it still cuts off with adb, that sucks. I'll just stick to my laptop, since it's much more powerful than the mobile version (which, doesn't even bring Burp Suite, and that's the main reason I want the GUI on my tab).

No this method is not suitable for watching youtube video in linux. But there are other methods which will yield better performance like using Native Termux X11 distro.

This is Linux emulation. Linux is not running natively on the chip. There is no hardware acceleration. This is useful for txt type of work, not recommended for art. Plus your mileage may vary. Not all libraries may work on ARM. Get a laptop instead for real work, I personally hate expensive tablets, they are nothing but luxury sidekicks (both Android and iPadOS). These are not mainstream features, so companies don't work on it. What I showed is a demonstration of what's possible and how one can take advantage of it. I'm not saying to buy a high end tablet to replace a laptop.

You can use ADB OTG - Shell app.. if you have another android phone. You cannot the two phones via OTG and use one phone to run the shell command on the other phone. Or lastly use ADB on PC.
Bro if it felt like a Native device, then we wouldn't be buying laptops anymore. It's not that smooth as it's being emulated but definitely good enough for typing workloads like coding/creating documents!
Only if a linux rom is available for your device, otherwise you have to build your own linux rom. Otherwise you can use Termux Proot environment to unlock many more Linux features. Search about it.

@@Gladitor_EXE it will fail, it's the android 12 phantom process killer. To avoid it you have to run the 2nd adb command. You can run it via PC or on your phone/tablet directly using LADB.

If you want to run Linux on arm. Do you have a two choices? You either want to pick a system based on Mali GPU which is derivative of radeon GCN. Alternatively, for the absolute best performance you want to use snapdragon 855. Unique chip that has robust kernel drivers behind it. Snapdragon 855 was used for windows on arm development kits. This is also the original source of the drivers. This is used in raspberry PI
